| Zhou Keyu 周柯宇 was baptized Daniel Zhou by a pastor in the USA where he was born on May 17, 2002, while his parents went through divorce. He was brought to Beijing after a difficult infancy, despite the family being relatively wealthy, and raised there by his elder brother (he had two) who enrolled him into the prestigious n°55 high school with international students (that's where he became fluent in English : he said he did not speak it well before, which can happen to a lot of re-rooted children). He was a chubby and shy boy as his elder brother remembered on his 20th birthday documentary. (More info here) |
When he was 18, December 5, 2025, he renounced his U.S citizenship. He has released a first solo album of 11 songs in 2023, and a few more digital singles since then. He also has recorded several OST songs, including for the 2024 drama Amidst a Snowstorm of Love. | At 16, instead of going on to university in 2019, he joined Jaywalk New Joy company and grew to become a dancer, choreographer and singer, first a member of BEST, next winner of a spot in Chuang 2021 music "survival show" to become a pillar member of the temporary group INTO1. (But no song from the group are in the NES drama.) |

| Brian Cheng is a Canadian artist. 《SUNBURN(灼伤)》is the fourth and last song on his EP "Dear Travelers of the Universe”, released on: 2024-10-18, which is about a character who gives tips on how to navigate where the traveler is going (”look up further”). He handled the lyrics, composition, and production, while the arrangement was a collaboration between Gold Child, Hou Shuyang 侯舒扬, and Chen Qiming.
