I also like how they incorporated pan rong - lady bai marital issue into san lang in the drama. hwf as marriage counsellor hahaha

also in the novel, there was suddenly an illegitimate prince that had nothing to do with jcy-hwf except for buying lots of peonies and they were suddenly pushed into that whirlwind of intrigues. 

i thank the screenwriter for the changes she made. 

Ohhh I really loved pan rong and lady bai and was looking forward to them in the drama too

Is this scene the one Yang Zi mentioned where Mudan is hallucinating  because she was missing JCY and Yang Zi couldn't help cry even though she wasn't required to? I remember reading a snippet of the script describing this exact scene; Mudan is extremely distressed after JCY's disappearance and she thinks she's hallucinating when he comes back and kisses him to make sure he's real.

It seems like that scene (YZ said it's the most memorable/impactful for her) will happen when JCY is presumed dead. But she says it's deep in the forest and it was a cold night. 

The clip I mentioned doesn't show MD as having the same emotion as what YZ mentioned. That's why the other clip I mentioned doesn't seem to be the same scene but  feels better to happen before the one you mentioned. It would really be more apt if MD discovers her feelings just before JCY disappears temporarily. 

New melon says S2 will come out in Summer.

I'll be happy to be proven wrong as I also want her to acknowledge her feelings before the disappearance plot. 

By the way I'm really anticipating to see when Mudan eventually  cuts her hair to tie it with JCY's  and finds out about his mother's comb. So many possibly angsty and romantic scenes to look forward to.

I think the pregnancy will be after he comes back from his fake death and I still really believe we won't also get a confession from her before then 😂 but then again I'M HAPPY TO BE WRONG LMAO 

wait a bit off topic but rmber the girl who fell down from the horse which resulted in her unable to be pregnant anymore? i was thinking that maybe she wanted to get revenge from he weifanghe (since i think she disliked he weifang already from the start) and so if she gets pregnant, she will try and do smth evil to he weifang so she cant have a kid either. i didnt read the novel so is that smth thats gonna happen or am i thinking too much lol but i hope it doesnt tho i dont want he weifang to be in danger :(

Based on the synopsis for s2, I am starting to lean towards them admitting their feelings before their separation.

I'm leaning more on after they reunite though
