Mo Li

FL in this novel was a transmigrator. It was when she was 7 years old, when her mother passed away and be extremely poor health that she regained her memory of previous life. In her previous life, FL was a modern special force soldier from humble family that fight in a war for her country. She died for her country without regrets. In this life, she only wished for a tranquil, peaceful life 

Part One : Ye Residence – before marriage

• FL : Ye Li (YL) 15 years old, eldest legitimate / third daughter of Ye Minister family was infamous in capital as “Three nothing” – no talent, no beauty, no virtue –  
• ML : Prince Ding Mo Xiuyao (MXY) 25 years old, had suffered great injuries at eighteen. Since then, everyone known him as “Waste” – disfigured, disabled, gravely ill –

- Late chapter 30 & chapter 31, YL & MXY first meeting -

• YL & MXY never met, even after the announcement of their marriage. It’s only MXY & his friend Feng Zhiyao (FZY) happened heard YL settled problem in her antique shop from outside. That time YL manage embarrassed Prince Li & YY who want to take antique for free but at the end Prince Li had to pay for it. Second, MXY heard YL become the champion of The Hundred Flowers Gathering from FZY who happened to be one of the judges. This made FZY tease him said MXY fiancée is quite interesting
• That day, YL was shopping with her friend and dine in fine restaurant. Suddenly, Princess Qixia (QX), Princess from Southern Zhao, came out from private room and make one of waitress who bring hot soup and other dishes almost fall if not YL and her friends help
• Princess QX angry and humiliate that waitress and other guests. YL friends argue with her and almost got hit by Princess QX whip. YL help catch the whip before it landed on YL friend’s face
• It turns out the one who was with Princess QX in private room was Prince Li. Coming out, Prince Li said that YL want to attract his attention but he would never marry her. They argue, Prince Li loss word and want to hit YL   
• Someone stopped Prince Li hand and a deep gentle voice spoke “Prince Li, do you have some objection to my future Princess Consort?” MXY defend YL and also call her the future mistress of Ding Kingdom Mansion (showing trust that she will be head lady of mansion and not merely Princess Consort by title). Prince Li could only leave in anger with Princess QX followed
• MXY hadn’t appeared in public view for many years, yet still maintained his dignity even in a wheelchair with a mask, make people think he is quite different with their imagination as “Waste”
• MXY used to be favored 2^nd son of Ding Kingdom Mansion, envy by all young men. His literary acclaimed as number one, while his martial arts extraordinary. • Back to restaurant, MXY and YL both said that he/she surprise each other. Then MXY ask whether YL not afraid and take off his mask revealing somewhat horrific scars. YL not afraid, only ask whether MXY try to frighten her. MXY reply no, he only dislike wearing mask, which YL response that she also disliked people who wear masks
• That time, MXY struck. He knew that Emperor bestowed him marriage to so called “Three nothing” lady and ex fiancée who Prince Li broke with was to humiliate him. But now he found YL was indeed a very interesting woman, the best choice with his own condition and he truly could see her to be the future mistress of Ding Kingdom Mansion
• That day MXY personally escorted YL home. YY accuse YL humiliate Prince Li in public but YL already handle with apology letter to Princess Imperial’s Mansion and Ding Kingdom Mansion also sent people to explain. This made Minister Ye and Old Madam Ye take YL side and ignore YY

• YL only back to Ye Family one day before YY’s marriage. That night someone dosed and kidnapped her to the grove outside capital. That man was Prince Li’s man. In the grove, Prince Li already wait and want to kill YL, but before he could do any, YL wake and hit him unconscious. YL then went back. Behind, MXY & FZY watch it and throw Prince Li to cold lake
• Next day, Prince Li – Mo Jingli (MJL) late picks his bride and miss auspicious time
• The man who dosed and kidnapped YL last night turns out to be Master of Clear Wind Bright Moon House (the world premier pleasure house), Han Mingxi (HMX). Originally, HMX just act to help MJL grab YL for fun in change of money but ended up getting himself entangled. Within half an hour he was being tracked and hunt by Prince Ding and later Prince Li too. Now, he hides at YL’s room
• YL know Clear Wind Bright Moon House was in relation with Heaven’s First Pavilion – intelligence organization that sell information. Hence, YL manage bargain to let HMX go (including let Prince Ding not chase him anymore) with access to intelligence network.
• Night of wedding day MXY pick YL to go to wedding banquet. MJL once again look YL for trouble and YL once again knock him out. When it comes to ceremony, MJL walk side by side with YY and when it comes for bow, he suddenly collapses (make him 3 times collapse within a day). Wedding ceremony considered finish, wedding feast had to continue, while guests contemplating tomorrow’s newest gossip in the capital
• Next couple days happened to be the day MXY sent betrothal gifts and coincides with YY homecoming day. MXY ask two highly respected elders Old Duke Hua and Chancellor Su to accompany him with generous betrothal gift that make Madam Wang, YY & MJL felt unhappy
• In this moment in Ye family, MXY and YL get along very well like friends. While YY, she has kind of tragic marriage that her mother-in-law angry with her and not let her manage household. Besides, YY just know that MJL already had 5 concubines
• Not long, YL being summoned to palace to meet Empress Dowager, Emperor and Noble Consort Liu (Emperor’s favored). After leaving the Palace, YL being kidnapped again by a group of bandits and quickly there were rumor in capital that YL kidnapped by rapist. Xu family tell the incident to MXY and MXY quickly arrange his man. He himself went out of city to find YL
• In short YL manage to escape and went back to Xu family villa with MXY. That night they had encounter with the kidnapper Han Mingyue (HMY) – HMX’s brother. HMY lost and promise to give a tenth of his intelligence organization profit to YL for let him go. HMY said he only follow order from his master (a woman who face hidden with veil)
• After this, YL and MXY have a same perspective that whatever happened they will make do (with the marriage). They couldn’t find another more suitable but just because they just met, they still keep their deep secret by themselves. They could be friends, have the same understanding but not cross boundary like ask each other past, etc
• YL’ eldest uncle come to YL to give her some teaching of capital’s power and background of Prince Ding Mansion.
  • The first Prince Ding was brother of founding Emperor, share Mo surname
  • After three generations Next Prince Ding Mo Liufang help young Emperor executed corrupt officials and support him as Prince Regent until young Emperor sixteenth. In 29 year of young Emperor Mo Liufang dead of illness.
  • Mo Xiuwen as eldest son inherit the title, ordered to campaign against barbarians but died of illness. Then 18 years old MXY inherit the title continue the war
  • Though MXY ultimately achieve victory but he paid heavy price, disabled, disfigured, gravely ill

  • MXY fiancé was Su Zuidie (SZD), known as Great Chu number one beauty. She was granddaughter of Chancellor Su. • In this while YL travel to Southern Zhao. Southern Zhao was barren land of poisons
• In her journey she traveled with her Dark Shadow (MXY guard for YL that report only to her) and Han Mingxi. Then she met Sickly Scholar who expert in poison. At some point they were captured by Luoyi tribe and they went to Luoyi tribe’s quarter far below cliff
• That place was very dangerous with poisonous flowerbed and snake. YL found out that place also a vast weapon forge and the weapon is Great Chu’s typical weapon. Besides, YL also found a box with key mechanism with unknown character
• When they manage to escape from that cliff, YL who already remember that unknown character and open the box, copy it to send home, which Dark Shadow said since YL send massage home why not send a family letter for MXY too
• MXY receive the letter, he asked FZY to find people translate the ancient Zhao character. After that he knew the danger of situation. He asked Divine Physician Shen to use whatever method for him to be able to stand in Southern frontier.
• Divine Physician Shen very angry with MXY that as a physician he never made his patient die, MXY went to south means death that he wouldn’t survive with Southern climate. He tried very hard to find cure and keep MXY alive, many times he pulled MXY from death but the patient just like that decide to walk to death. But this time MXY insist
• After a week, YL arrived in capital of Southern Zhao. YL found out that her cousin XQC has been missing in a while. YL then disguise as XQC’s fiancé and came to Princess Anxi (AX) Palace because before XQC missing he was staying there.
• Princess AX and XQC were friends. In Southern Zhao, XQC had helped Princess AX a lot against Holy Maiden who allied with MJL want to rebel and seize Southern Zhao throne. However, Southern Zhao Emperor looks like sided with Holy Maiden, ignores His daughter (Princess AX)
• Later YL found out XQC kidnapped in Holy Temple and succeed to rescue him
• Then, YL got news that Sickly Scholar managed to get Azure Flower Yellow Spring, a rare poison that maybe could help or could harm MXY. YL want to get it or if couldn’t she want to destroy it so no one can use it to harm MXY
• In the cave, Sickly Scholar had catch HMX to threaten YL. Besides, Sickly Scholar also paid HMY service to against YL (CJW). Only in that cave everyone knew CJW was actually YL – Princess Ding. HMX decided to stand on YL’s side for this while friendship
• HMY readily with Tianyi Pavilion troops surround them, but YL prepare Dark Shadow Guard and turns out it’s Black Cloud Riders (MXY trained army) who came surround make HMY and Sickly Scholar no way to retreat. YL let Sickly Scholar go because head of Hell Hall Ling Tiehan (sickly scholar sworn brother) who was XQC’s friend came. LTH give YL jade token of Hell Hall
• YL startled with Black Cloud Riders and learn that 3 days ago war broke. MJL who occupied land in Lingzhou gather Lingzhou army to attack Yongzhou and at the same time Southern Zhao attack Suixie Pass that was guard by General Murong. Hence, secretly trained Black Cloud Riders that stationed in Yongzhou rode through the night, ordered to escort YL and XQC to safety
• Next, YL strategize to support the war, display her talent. Black Cloud Riders quickly saw YL with respect and give her genuine loyalty (previously Black Cloud Riders only answer to Prince Ding and only the first Princess Ding able to command them)
• Governor of Yongzhou easily give up make MJL step forward to Yonglin City before Suixie Pass. So, General Murong keep defend Suixie, while YL defend Yonglin City
• However, after a couple of days, rebel army of MJL were very large in number and YL almost couldn’t hold Yonglin city anymore. MJL draw bow about to shot YL but the golden arrow thwarted it.
• Then a grandeur figure in white horse, a white-robed man with his low voice carried by an inner force spread across the entire battlefield said those who plot rebellion and betray the country shall be shown no mercy! For an instant the entire battlefield seemed to freeze
• Rebel soldiers trembled as they faced Great Chu undefeated war God MXY. Hence, they slowly retreat without even engaging larger Black Cloud Riders who came with MXY. Fellow Yonglin Commander said this is what called Presence, can’t be learned. Just Prince Ding standing was enough to terrify most people, what was left to fight about

- Chapter 92, Meet Again -

• After the battle finish YL and MRT readily to greet winning army. And there, finally meet again after a long time, MXY bend down to extend his hand to YL and pulled her onto the horse to sit before him. Then, they galloped away traversed Yonglin City and rode out through the gates
• Outside Yonglin city. They dismounting from horse and MXY kiss YL in his embrace
• MXY said that YL frightened him. If, if he hadn’t been able to block that arrow, not any single rebel present would have left alive
• Then, they met with General Murong. It turns out that MXY didn’t bring a lot army. Emperor not allow him. Now, Prince Ding will only wait for reinforcement from capital before withdraw completely. General Murong couldn’t believe it with Prince Ding presence he needed to drag the war and not attack immediately. But then he understood what Emperor truly wary was Prince Ding mansion and not MJL rebel. If MJL occupied south, Emperor could take it back sooner or later but if Prince Ding move he could seize Great Chu. Then he only could sigh. Suppose to be quick finish war, now only can drag don’t know for how long
• After that MXY, YL, FZY, LHY gathered and talk about politics and Southern Zhao. The Holy ground in Southern Zhao might hold Southern Zhao royal family’s greatest secret and the Holy Maiden was actually descendant of Great Chu’s previous dynasty Crown Prince
• The reason MXY could stand healthy was the Phoenix Grass. YL manage to dig it from FZY. So that afternoon YL look up for MXY who lock himself in study. After pass the Dark Guard who guard Study door, YL startled to see the condition inside, her heart tremble to the man who had been so magnificent and invincible on the battlefield yesterday was now sprawled ungracefully on the ground
• MXY bitter for YL always see him at his most pathetic moments, which YL replied they were husband and wife, not strangers, so it’s impossible to only ever see each other’s perfect sides. After MXY got better YL said that she will stay with him from now on
• After reinforcement come, MXY withdraw. But before they back to capital, they finish some matter
• First, MXY kill all Western Ling bandits that help and use opportunity in war conditions
• Second, they turn to Guanling, headquarter of Clear Wind Bright Moon House and Heaven’s First Pavilion. MXY knew it’s about time HMY would flee to Western Ling. HMY fall for that woman in Western Ling and about to leave and serve her instead. Once he moved, Emperor would charge him rebel and executed Han family nine kinship degrees
• With MXY came, HMY could only flee alone without HMX, so HMX announce Han family had expelled HMY and he was the new master of Han family. From now on, HMX said he will follow Prince Ding and Princess Ding. MXY said for HMX handle matters directly from YL
• In this while MXY somewhat arrange to give YL more man and more power. Power that made people dare not to move against YL, even without him
• Then YL & MXY discuss about who the woman made HMY obsessed, the same woman who order HMY to kidnapped YL. MXY answer, she was Su Zuidie (SZD), MXY’s former fiancée. SZD known dead but it was HMY who fake her dead. SZD now was in Western Ling and somewhat became Noble Consort of Western Ling. It was SZD (MXY’s former fiancée) and HMY (MXY’s best friend) who betray him 7 years ago
• At that time, it’s not MXY didn’t know SZD fake her death, he knew and want to kill her but finally let her go because Old Master Su kneel in front of him and because SZD’s brother died save him in battle. SZD found MXY not good enough for her especially after he injure

Part Five : Rush to Northwest. War with Western Ling & Central Plain’s War

• YL very capable. King Zhengnan who command the Western Ling troops himself, despite succeed take Xin Yang (one of prosperous Great Chu city with granary and military supplies) but turns out the city wealth already transport out while suddenly his son troops suffer loss make him heavily injured.
• Next city was Jiangxia, where 50,000 Mo Army stationed there. Jiangxia hold very hard. It’s very difficult for King Zhengnan to take the city although he has 300,000 troops. By the time city gate broke, YL arrive with reinforcement, close the city gate and kill all remain Western Ling soldier inside. King Zhengnan had to retreat for a while
• Next,YL show some of her skill to gain trust from Mo Army in Jiangxia
• Next, news that MXY led troops from north, defeated Western Ling Army and recaptured Xinyang. This was indeed joyful news for everyone

- Chapter 143, Reunion -

• But with a very busy matters to handle it only 7 days later that YL arrive in Xinyang. Meet with MXY, YL run to his embrace and MXY call her name over and over. Their subordinate watch it and understood enough to retreat quietly. That day they kiss and make out
• Later, Noble Consort Bai Rong, Su Zuidie came, said she run from Western Ling Imperial for MXY. She was another shameless woman who thought with her beauty and childhood memory with MXY that MXY would forgive and fall for her then draw discord between MXY & YL. It could only break her heart that MXY was very cold towards her and don’t even give a glance.
• Later when she said it better for her to die and throw herself to pillar, MXY keep unmoved. SZD could only hurt and worry whether the wound on her forehead will leave a scar
• Next, suddenly Emperor blame Marquis Nan for work with enemy, hence all of his family in capital being imprison and someone came to escort Marquis Nan and his heir back to capital. Although MXY protect him, but Marquis Nan finally decide he will back to capital left his heir to MXY
• One of the men who came to escort turns out bring letter from Old Duke Hua. The letter said that Emperor agree to cede 3 prefectures and 11 cities in exchange for join forces of three countries to eliminate the entire Mo family army. MXY very angry and order to bring back Marquis Nan
• With preparation had to be make, YL said she will handle Xinyang matter to let MXY make other preparation
• Not long, HMY indeed come for SZD. However, YL already set trap to catch him. MXY and YL bargain with him that the price for let HMY & SZD go were shut down Heaven Pavilion (HMY’s intelligence organization) and HMY’s wealth (YL found that HMY’s wealth was beyond and she get HMY’s jade token to access it all)

- Chapter 157, Inevitable Separation -

• With the war scale up, it was inevitable for MXY and YL to separate. MXY setting out for battle and YL stay guarding Xinyang
• YL not only guard the city but make King Zhengnan troops busy with her. This made King Zhengnan cannot gather with the battle with MXY
• MXY face the battle with Southern Zhao, MJL and Western Ling while also guard against Emperor’s troops. That’s why at any cost YL didn’t want to let King Zhengnan troops join the battle in Central Plains

- Chapter 158, Unexpected Joy – YL’s pregnancy -

• After a while, YL looks pale, fatigue. She thought she was sick, so when HMY want to check her pulse, she gave her hand. Unexpectedly, the result is she was with child, not yet a month long. YL froze, feel that the child was coming at such an inopportune time but to have her & MXY’s who would be her closest blood relative, YL couldn’t help feel excitement and joy

• After long Battle, YL agree with FZY suggestion to abandon Xinyang. Xinyang already almost an empty city. Hence, they make preparation to make it full empty and left to Hongzhou. When King Zhengnan thought a victory for take Xinyang, on the contrary it’s a burned and destroyed Xinyang
• Move to next city Hongzhou is not easy. Official in Hongzhou loyal for Emperor. But with YL advanced in leading, she managed to rule the official and also defend the city very well. On the intensify battle, YL play pipa music that boost the spirit of soldiers
• After couple of days it seems that Hongzhou couldn’t be hold. But that was what YL planned. When King Zhengnan soldiers thought they already win and enter the city, the city wall being bombed so no one could enter or exit. Inside more than half of King Zhengnan soldiers being hunt by Mo Army and small number outside ambush by Black Cloud Riders
• When that happened YL with small Dark Shadow and her assistance left Hongzhou
• But from capital, Emperor was in bad mood from the report of war. Then he sent troops lead by Mu Yang, not as reinforcement but to capture YL alive or dead. MXY who got tipped of this very angry and immediately make plan. However, he positioned too far

- Chapter 171, YL fell from the cliff -

• YL being chased by hundred people need to take forest mountain route. Besides, Golden Guards from King Zhengnan also pursue YL. Later YL choose cliff as way out but before YL could pass it, King Zhengnan came with SZD, while HMY came a little bit earlier to warn YL but late. King Zhengnan fight with YL while Golden Guards fight with Dark Shadow. SZD suddenly launch secret needle towards YL but block by HMY with his own body. Then, YL stab King Zhengnan hand with dagger and let herself fall to the cliff, shocked everyone
• Not long, MXY came but it was too late. They try to look for YL below the cliff with no result. HMX who came with MXY scold him, said though MXY genius God of War and world class martial arts but how can he let YL hold northwest against King Zhengnan, let YL being hunt and fell off the cliff while carrying MXY’s child. Only that time that MXY knew YL was pregnant. MXY face white as paper and blood spurted from his mouth
• War report :
  • MJL and Western Ling allied with Southern Zhao attack Great Chu. Prince Ding personally led 500,000 Mo army to meet them
  • Sixteen years old Princess Ding, despite being a mere woman held northwest and annihilated 200,000 Western Ling troops at Hongzhou, make King Zhengnan fled in panic
  • Besides, Princess Ding using merely 30,000 troops manage to trapped another 300,000 soldiers for Western Ling reinforcement make them unable to advance or retreat
  • While Qilin (YL’s special trained guard) appearing and disappearing like ghost in critical situation
  • Western Ling troops had no choice but retreat in disarray to border
  • Being chase by many forces, Princess Ding fell from cliff, her fate unknown
  • The soldiers that seen station in mountain was not enemy but Great Chu soldiers. Prince Ding flew into rage and killed all those 7,000 soldiers
• Mo Army then occupied Hongzhou. On the way to Hongzhou, MXY’s already poor health had finally succumbed to days of anxiety, exhaustion, and the sudden massive shock. After coughing up several mouthfuls of blood, he fallen from his horse and be unconscious. Nine days. After he wake his hair turned silver white
• After that long, still no news of YL. MXY said to FZY, if YL has perished, this Prince will turn this world into purgatory, let these ten thousand li of mountains and rivers be her sacrifice

Part Seven : Journey to South, Travel to West

• There was invitation from Southern Zhao. Princess Anxi (AX) will married. So, after arranged everything in Northwest, YL and MXY, for the first time in five years step their foot out from northwest on a journey to south
• To go to Southern Zhao, it was inevitable for them to pass Great Chu. Although they travel through small cities, eyes always on them. But no matter who ambush them, general with thousand troops or paid assassins, no one match YL & MXY dozens group
• YL and MXY arrived quite early in Southern Zhao and be welcomed by Princess AX herself. Princess AX fiancé was son of wolf tribe, name Pu’A

They also found that Lei Tengfeng (LTF), son of King Zhengnan secretly want poison in large number. MXY & YL robbed the poison on LTF way back to Southern Zhao capital
• Also come as representative was Great Chu chancellor Liu, Noble Consort Liu and Princess Changle. It turns out that Mo Jingqi decided to give Princess Changle to Southern Zhao King. Not political marriage but a ‘gift’ makes YL worry for her
• Night of wedding day, Princess Changle secretly be sent to Southern Zhao King chamber. Hua family guard try to help her but outnumbered. YL came in time to rescue. Since Empress already meant for Changle to never comeback to Great Chu, YL ask her to just come to northwest
• Also, that night, Holy Maiden already had plan to ambush Princess AX. Holy Maiden had token for mobilize hundreds of city guards and expert. Princess AX fight them with support from her maternal family and tribes from her husband side. It was a tight fight until Qilin help them. At the end it was Princess AX side who won
• Princess AX will inherit her father title. At least that what XQC predict. So, they stay a while to wait for coronation. MXY decide to travel alone together with YL. After all, they really need a vacation with just two of them
• MXY and YL travel with wild horse to Western Border. It happened there will be Martial Arts Assembly (one in nine years). When MXY was 14 years old, he participated in this assembly and title four despite his very young age, shocked everyone
• Now, because YL interested, MXY and YL will see as watcher. MXY didn’t want to participate for him don’t care about martial rank anymore. So, they depart to Murong family house, where the event will be held. Murong Family was noble family with hundred years history, like Xu family but they were merchant, not scholar. People call them the wealthiest under Heaven

• On Murong side there was this person called Ren Qi Ning. RQN claimed he was the real Lin Yuan, descendant of previous dynasty and in this while he secretly pacified Northern Border tribe 
• At the day Murong family deal with XQC, Murong Xiong had a fierce fight with LTH and LZT. MRX get upper hand with LTH and LZT, want to kill XQC first. His palm already only an inch before XC chest, but MXY came in time to dodge it. Next, it became LTH and MXY fight with MRX while LZT handle RQN. At the end they win, MRX dead. Murong family wealth divided for LZT, LTH and Prince Ding

Part Nine : War begins

- Chapter 295, War -

• War begins. MXY & YL lead troops and leave Northwest to XQC’s hand and other Xu family
• Northern Rong and Western Ling under King Zhengnan (note: King Zhengnan was Western Ling Regent and also one of four master) attack Great Chu
• Great Chu ask MXY to help but MXY said he wouldn’t, Great Chu and northwest had each own path. King Zhengnan ask MXY not interfere their attack to Great Chu with some bargain which MXY agree
• MXY indeed not interfere, but MXY decide to attack Western Ling capital, start from small city to prosperity Bian City. MXY bring 400,000 troops which rather small number than Western Ling troops
• There were three notable generals in Western Ling although now they already old. Two of them Old General Zhu Yan (ZY) and Old General Long Yang (LY) were in Bian city. King Zhengnan was too far away so reinforcement would be late
• General ZY lost in the battle opposite YL, choose to jump from city wall. General LY face MXY in Bian City and threat MXY with Great Chu civilian as shield. MXY very angry that he stormed in. Bian fell. MXY want revenge that he will execute Bian entire population because of that General Long Yang’s one crucial mistake threat him with Great Chu civilian and let him watch it
• It will be entire city massacre if YL not come at the right time. At the end, for YL sake, MXY only kill all soldiers and throw out civilians
• General LY thanks to YL and advise her to always advise MXY. It was karma for him because he famous as killer from Western Ling when he was young. General LY used to massacre city that he didn’t believe on fate, heaven or God. Now, he had to watch every single soldier execute because of his crucial mistake, he only could regret it
• Then MXY & YL meet Master Xiuting (XT), a western Ling scholar who was a friend of YL’s uncle and student of Master Qingyun. When meet with MXY & YL; Master XT, just like other master could see what a matchless pair who make him seemed to finally see a lifelong unattainable hope – a dream of a true golden age
• Back than Master XT think that Prince Ding killing energy was too strong, offending heaven and wasn’t a sign of longevity but that because he hadn’t seen the other person. With Princess Ding, perhaps Prince Ding won’t cause too much bloodshed.
• With world at chaos, Master XT in his sixty used to think that death would not be regrettable. But only now he hoped to live a few more years for perhaps in his lifetime he could see a true golden age
• Next, they arrived in Western Ling imperial capital. Mo Army camp outside. Xu Qingbai (Xu family 4^th young master) had been inside capital, negotiate with Western Ling Emperor. Mo Army outside restless, but YL told them “The art of war said : Supreme excellence consists in breaking the enemy’s resistance without fighting. The next best is to attack the enemy’s strategy, then his alliances, his army, and the worst is to attack his cities. To subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill”
• Western Ling Emperor willingly give up imperial city and will move to others city farther. In this moment of peace, merchant and noble in capital race for Prince Ding favor. They sent not only gift but also beauties. YL usually not bother by this, but this time somehow, she was angry. This last couple of days, she also feels unwell
• On the day of flower banquet in city, YL came while MXY went to palace to meet Emperor. Then there was assassination attempt to kill YL. If YL healthy she will okay but this time she was not as fast as she used to be. After long fight, a sword reached to her, blocked by XQB. Luckily it was not stabbed any vital point, however XQB lost many bloods and unconscious. After order physician for XQB, YL also fell unconscious in MXY embrace who just come

- Chapter 312, With Child – YL’s second pregnancy -

• It turns out YL almost three months pregnant. The fight shocked the fetus so YL fell unconscious to rest. Then come the bloody wrath from MXY. Any involved with assassins all kill within three generation. Many noble and rich fell, especially who connected with King Zhengnan. This also include Princess Lingyun (western Ling Princess who ever challenge YL in great Chu palace). However, the true mastermind seemed to be Ren Qining
• After finish matters in Western Ling and appointed XQB as governor for five provinces, MXY and YL went back to Li city
• In this while, Li city was in peace. However Great Chu position was bad, soon enemy will arrive in imperial city. So, MJL moved the capital to Jiangnan in south. The war was between King Zhengnan (who knew that Western Ling capital had fell to MXY so he needed to grab Jiangnan) versus MJL. The other war was between Nothern Rong and Nothern Jin versus the remain of Great Chu. What left in Great Chu previous imperial city were only Old Duke Hua, Leng Huai (LHY’s father) and Murong Shen with Princess Imperial, Prince Changxin (Noble Liu’s son) and Princess Zhengnin (Noble Liu’s daughter). They fight hard to defend the city
• XQC in northwest stand guard on Fei Hong Pass face Northern army. He sent Wei Lin to LHY and with secret force in Great Chu border for them to hold (LHY with his father still fight defend previous Great Chu Imperial City)
• Secretly we knew that MXY had killed all RQN wife, concubine and children because RQN was the mastermind for YL’s assassination attempt. So, Northern Jin allied with Northern Rong attack Great Chu imperial city fiercely. He needed to win it before MXY joined the war
• When MXY arrived in northwest, he couldn’t stay long. Reluctantly, he had to leave pregnant YL in northwest for him went to next war  
• Great Chu was hard to hold face Northern Jin, while MXY way to Great Chu detained by Northern Rong. But just in time, MXY arrived, repelled Northern Jin & Rong, occupy the city. Old Duke Hua die defended until his last breath. Imperial Princess Fuxi also die peacefully in palace
• Prince Changxin announced, Prince Ding and Mo army had saved Changxin city (former Great Chu capital). From now on, Changxin city would be under Prince Ding command and no longer subjects of Great Chu
• After almost a year of war, everyone had exhausted and had no energy to fight again. Prince Ding now controlled two imperial cities, east and west, their reputation unmatched in the world

Part Eleven : War Continue

- Chapter 358, War continue -

• RQN allied with YLY prepare to attack. MXY face YLY’s northern Rong while YL work together with Queen Helan face RQN’s Northern Jin. RQN’s dream to restore previous dynasty didn’t have strong root. He used his marriage with Northern Jin (Border Tribe) and inherit King of Northern Jin title, but Queen Helan (Queen of Border Tribe) didn’t want see her people vanish in war and work with Prince Ding mansion instead
• In short, RQN lost and dead. YL despite being a woman defeated Northern Jin King in just over a month and pacified northeastern region. LH & LHY stationed in northeastern region Changqing city
• In other place, XQC ally in a while with King Zhengnan to face Cangmang mountain that had joined force with MJL. King Zhengnan succeed attack Cangmang mountain with XQC assistance. In short, DFH dead, DFY betray her and Cangmang mountain perish. What left only DFY and her people in Jiangnan
• After war with RQN, YL went to MXY side, praised by many. In MXY’s central Mo army, face northern Rong was not as easy as Northern Jin. After all, Northern Rong had great general Helian Zhen (HLZ) who caused Mo Army’s many lifes years ago and now HLZ has young junior Helian Peng (HLP) who excel in military tactics and had trained special force call Yazi to encounter Qilin
• War with Northern Rong was a big scale war across large area. MXY decide to divided Mo army into three. Left with General Lu Jinxian occupying Liancheng near former Chu Capital. Right will commanded by YL and General He Su stationed at Mount Lingxiao near Feihong pass. MXY himself commanded the center, guarding Mo Army central camp
• HLP curious with Qilin and YL, hence he ambushed YL on her way to Mount Lingxiao and he lost. Hear that HLP sudden attack to YL, MXY very angry so he alone ambush to Northern Rong camp kill hundreds before left back. Everyone knew that they cannot fight MXY through YL. It’s still better to straight face MXY rather than try to bother his beloved Princess Consort. There will be only bloodshed from MXY’s rage but HLP still insist and try to kidnap YL for bargain with MXY
• In short, in Mount Lingxiao and cities nearby, YL win and defeated HLP. HLP had 300,000 troops with him and after defeat he only had about 10,000 left, anger HLZ and YLY
• Because Northern Rong experience defeat, YLY and HLZ strategize to ally with King Zhengnan & MJL
• After win in Mount Lingxiao and conquer cities nearby, YL went back to center army to MXY

- Chapter 368, XQC missing, YL went to Jiangnan -

• Then, suddenly there were news that XQC missing. YL very worried and MXY let her go to Jiangnan to investigate this. It was DFY who kidnapped XQC. XQC being kept in mountain cabin, although no one harm him but when there was a mountain girl, XQC prefer to ask her to help him escape first rather than being kept. That lovely mountain girl call Shen Yun Ge, Yun Ge (YG)
• Despite only 15 years old, YG good at martial arts, lightning skills and medicine. YG help XQC escape through water but XQC accidentally hurt himself. Since then, XQC recuperate in YG’s residence in deep mountain
• In short, YL manage to capture DFY. YG seek YL by XQC order to inform his condition. In Jiangnan, YL disguise as CJW and do politics too like save a rich merchant Zhang Baiwan (ZBW) and make him stand on Prince Ding side
• Besides, YL found news about YY’s son. It turns out current young Emperor Mo Suyun (MSY) was YY and MJL lost son that had been swap by Mo Jingqi (MJQ) since birth
• In this while, without knowing that fact, MJL tried to make MSY abdicate throne to him, make MSY very afraid. Consort Dowager also poison MSY slowly make his current health very poor. Only after YL let YY knew that they found out. MJQ scheme indeed very cruel
• MJL, after got antidote last time from Ye Yue took more concubine and one of them pregnant. YY beg MJL to save MSY but ignore by MJL
• One night, there was palace banquet celebrate the concubine (now Consort Zhao) pregnancy. YY lock in her room. MSY present at banquet, Consort Zhao force him to drink fruit juice (poisoned). MJL already decide to kill this son because his current status as MJQ descendant who succeed throne and because MJL already could get another heir
• YL came and release YY. YY rush to banquet and throw the fruit juice. YY very angry because MJL want to kill their son. She stabbed MJL and MJL throw her make her internally injured. YY, despite injured, grab Consort Zhao and fell stairs together, make Consort Zhao miscarriage. MJL angry, he grabbed MSY to throw him but MSY being saved by YG who came with YL. YY only ask YL to took MSY away and save him, give him a peaceful life. Then, YY laugh and said to MJL that the dagger she used to stab him had been poisoned with the same poison make Prince Li couldn’t have heir and YY had drink remaining antidote
• In short, YY died. YL took MSY away. No one in Prince Li mansion could do anything. MJL being poisoned twice, now for sure won’t have future heir. DFY brought back to Cangmang mountain with evidence of her betrayal, sentenced to death

- Chapter 378, Return to North -

• After this, YL and others return to north. XQC led YG and MSY to Li City while YL ride swift horse to battlefield. Mo army face three nation allied army. But thanks to YL, MJL side had dropped the ball for a while because of internal matter he needed to solve (Young Emperor departure and MJL plan his ascension to throne)
• In army camp, it turns out MXB had come. Although MXB only 8 years old, MXY let him came to army camp for him to study. Then, MXY and YL decide to face northern Rong with young commander while veteran general tried to hold King Zhengnan army in Wei City. MXY calculate that he needed to finish Northern Rong quick before MJL army arrive
• In short, whatever Northern Rong try to do, they always defeated by Mo army. Until New Year’s Day. Northern Rong plan to attack while Mo army who should be celebrate new year, but MXY stepped ahead. All Northern Rong army pushed to Huifeng Valley where MXY’s brother MXW and Mo armies died unjustly years ago. Now, YLY, HLZ and HLP with remaining Northern army had no way out in Huifeng Valley. Northern Rong army wasn’t innocent soldiers either, they killed many Great Chu civilian these years. So, MXY show no mercy and annihilated them all, avenge his brother. Finally, family of three kowtow in MXY’s brother grave in small hill near Huifeng valley     
• After finish with Northern Rong, MXY and YL rush back. Veteran general, Murong Shen and Marquis Nan almost couldn’t hold King Zhengnan. Wei city had fall and they retreat to Feihong pass
• Now, MJL had ascended the throne and ready with his 800,000 troops. MXY arrange General Lu Jinxian with 400,000 troops to face MJL while MXY with another 400,000 will face King Zhengnan. YL ask MXY to let her catch up with General LJX. At first, YL thought MXY wouldn’t agree but MXY let her go because he knew this would be last battle, last time he would let YL go. After this over they promised that they will travel to see mountains and rivers
• Facing MJL, YL manage to outmaneuvered MJL army. In short, Mu Yang who choose loyal to MJL die after knew that YJ and ML were Prince Ding spy in these years. MXY had arrange another cruel revenge for MY mansion because they chasing YL years ago made YL fell cliff while pregnant
• Then, suddenly A’Jin sent letter from FZY to YL said that MXY injured and request her to be back to main army immediately. YL almost collapse and that night she rushed back.
• On the way back, there was an ambush, it was Ling Tiehan. It turns out that LTH identity was one of Western Ling royal and he had debt with King Zhengnan so he agreed by King Zhengnan request to try his best to kill YL. YL with A’Jin, Zhuo Jing and Lin Han almost killed but Mu Qingchang suddenly came. MQC help to hold LTH so YL could escape and back to main army

- Chapter 398, MXY’s ‘death’ -

• In main army, the fact was MXY missing. They were careless that there was Cangmang mountain spy in Dark Shadow. That spy kidnapped MXB and told MXY to came alone. MXY came alone and by the time FZY manage to find the place, there was only bodies of enemy. MXB also there, unconscious but not hurt. MXY missing, no one could find him
• YL speak to Mo Hua (MH) alone. MH didn’t know where was MXY but YL knew that it must be MH who arrange MQC to hold LTH. So, it must be MXY’s plan. At the end YL only ask MH to nod if MXY still alive which MH nod
• Next morning, YL announce to the close general and subordinate that MXY gravely injured, Physician Shen were called immediately and after two weeks they will hold MXY’s funeral.
• When the time came, obituary was sent. With YL present, Mo army remain calm, they were sad and mourn but remain strong and not panic. All nuance in white. King Zhengnan and MJL came in person to make sure MXY’s death. Reluctantly, A’Jin open the coffin. King Zhengnan himself make sure that body inside with silver white hair, handsome face, wound in wrist and calluses on palm indeed MXY
• Then, MJL and King Zhengnan went to drink tea and discuss for next war strategies. Suddenly, MJL became clingy to King Zhengnan and King Zhengnan beat him severely. This is MXB revenge. When MXB first saw MJL, he screamed ‘You bad person who killed my father, I’ll bite you to death’ and true MXB hard bite MJL. Other only saw it as childish play and let it pass but more to the bite, MXB pour one of Physician Shen medicine too – a strong aphrodisiac
• MJL very embarrassed and King Zhengnan very angry. King Zhengnan left quickly. But next morning, MJL still ask YL to submit to him and he will make YL Empress, only to make him being thrown out from Fei Hong Pass
• Far on mountain path, LTH detained by MXY. When MXY missing, he hurt but not serious, he was hiding with Dark Shadow. MXY look for LTH because last time LTH intended to kill YL although failed. They fight hard. LLY said that after all YL still alive and not hurt, if LTH want to kill YL he would succeed did it in one move, not delayed fight with others until MQC came. After a while, both internally injured and agree to continue their fight later. It’s true that LTH not really intended to kill YL still show mercy, so MXY also show LLY mercy. It was also true that if they want to fight until found the winner, both could die while each of them still had business to do and MXY of course still have family
• Back to his hiding, MXY got news that MJL want to make YL his Empress. MXY swear he would make Prince Li beg for life but find no death.

- Chapter 404, MXY appear in Liyang -

• After MXY’s death, war shifted to northwest. Many eyed Mo army. Some veteran general like MRS and Marquis Nan stationed in previous Great Chu, while General Zhang Qilan stationed in previous Western Ling capital. So, the remaining was YL & General YP defended Feihong pass against King Zhengnan army and General LJX with YT & HS against MJL in Liyang city
• One time King Zhengnan had got closer to Fei Hong pass and set up tent. But suddenly YL use bomb and make a great damage in Zhengnan army. YL also use new developed hand gun, she shot King Zhengnan in shoulder but missed vital point. This enough to make King Zhengnan army retreat in a while
• In Liyang, General LJX army blocked because MJL with 800,000 troops just stay and didn’t want to come out Liyang city. Then suddenly, a man called himself young master Ye came. He actually MXY in disguise
• MXY came to Liyang for 2 things. First, he saw Chu head family Chu Shaoying (CSY) almost imprisoned by MJL because he didn’t want submit to MJL. Chu family was family from Xu Hongyu’s wife and also family name YL use for her alias Chu Junwei. MXY help CSY, CSY submit to Prince Ding Mansion. MXY gave him the evidence of MJL use poison to kill MJQ and other bad things from MJL. CSY promise he and other noble families will arrange to spread that news. Second, MXY came inside MJL bedroom. MJL was drunk. He cut MJL ‘thing’s’ for revenge that MJL call YL intimately in his drunk state and want to make YL his Empress
• Last time, Qilin squat leader XQF had burn MJL army provision. Now, that next batch provision will came, the sender was Zhang Baiwan (rich merchant save by YL), General LJX want to intercept the provision but MXY order to let provision send to Liyang and poison it. It wasn’t a dangerous poison, only make people weak. MXY then told XQF to kill some commander in MJL troops who loyal to MJL.
• By the time, Mo army could easy enter Liyang. MXY voice for who surrender will be protected. MJL army long for strong leader, one by one drop their weapon and submit to Prince Ding. MXY claim 800,000 troops to be Mo army without bloodshed. MJL, still injured could only flee
• In Jiangnan, CSY with noble family had work with Great Empress Dowager with the evidence. Great Empress Dowager announce to depose MJL as Emperor and choose Mo Siuyun, the legitimate son of Mo Jingqi as Emperor. MJL very angry when hear the news. Now, he has nowhere to back

- Chapter 407, Battle at Feihong Pass -

• From Liyang with more than 800,000 troops, MXY immediately depart to Feihong pass. LTF shocked to knew the leader was MXY. Now, large number of armies was in their back and they didin’t have retreat route. King Zhengnan, despite still being injured attack Feihong pass quick and hard like this was his last time will face Mo Army.
• King Zhengnan use all his power and even all his Golden Guard unit. YL order Qilin to intercept, 4 units intercept Golden Guards and 2 units decapitation strike. These two units intercept to rear, near King Zhengnan to kill him. Despite only 500 they fight strong forward draw 1/3 from King Zhengnan whole army.
• Although it impossible to kill King Zhengnan but enough to make Western Ling army extremely nervous. And these Qilin were destined to became sacrifices in this battle. LHY want to ask them retreat or lead a rescue party but YL calmly said sacrifices fifty thousand to save five hundred? The choice was difficult but there was no alternative. Hence there was saying “The merciful cannot command armies, the righteous cannot manage finances” and YL had qualified to be commander
• The 4 units who intercept Golden Guard had killed all about 5,000 Golden Guards and now charged forward to where their 500 comrades disappear. They put their hand at chest level, face YL above city wall to salute. The mission their 500 comrades couldn’t complete would be continue by them
• Mo Army and Black Cloud Cavalry work together to clear path for Qilin charge forward. Western Ling army became chaotic. King Zhengnan beat the drum but then YL beat the larger drum, everyone saw a slender white-clad woman on high city wall. Each strike echoes on everyone’s heart rise the spirit. From Mo army “If I cannot live, you must die with me”
• By the time Qilin succeed come to Western Ling rear, the 300 remaining Qilin were led by Qin Feng, Lin Han and Wei Lin. They continue charge forward. Hundred thousand Western Ling troops cannot hold hundred Qilin. And by the time LTF realize, it was too late. Lin Han took the head of their left general near him. King Zhengnan immediately sound gongs for retreat
• In this battle no one won. But, King Zhengnan army shattered. Golden Guards destroyed. Two Western Ling high rank general killed, their moral crush. Mo army succeed defend Feihong pass. However, they lost half of Mo army troops. Of Qilin unit less than a hundred return. QF and WL lightly wounded and LH severely wounded. But this battle truly established Qilin reputation
• MXY with troops was about 2-3 days from Feihong pass. MXY sent letter for YL to leave first. They knew that King Zhengnan will soon attack again. He could only attack fiercely before MXY arrive. But this time, YL refuse to leave. YL had sent MXB back to Li City days before. If Feihong pass fall, common people would suffer, so she will stand in Feihong pass
• FZY ask YL whether she blame MXY. After a while she said, no, she understood MXY’s meaning. MXY fake his death because he wanted quickly finish the war. If follow original, war could continue for 3-5 years. If war continue long, it was common people too who suffer, even if the price was sacrifice Feihong pass along with all soldiers defend it, still the casualties would be far fewer than if war drag long.      
• Next day at dawn, King Zhengnan lead the troops himself. Mo army had disadvantage by number and tired while King Zhengnan’s numerous armies could rotate. Besides, King Zhengnan who supposed to be still injured, now very strong. He used martial technique that will boost his power twice within 24 hours. Although such technique had come with price which after that he will lose all his martial ability. Hopeless King Zhengnan already had no way of return, he only wanted to pass Feihong pass and kill MXY’s beloved
• Up at city wall, HMY, QF and WL step forward to protect YL. However, they were not King Zhengnan match. When King Zhengnan almost slice his sword to YL, LTH came and block it. Now that the debt had been paid, LTH want to score grudge toward King Zhengnan. LTH could came in time because MXY had told him that if he wanted to look for King Zhengnan, he needed to come to Feihong pass in 10 days. True, if he missed it King Zhengnan already lost all his martial powers. So, everything had already by MXY calculation. This made King Zhengnan wonder and feel outmaneuver

- Chapter 411, The Final Battle -

• After a while, finally heard a sound of hoofbeats. It was MXY and black cloud cavalry. Although only 30,000 but it enough to lit the spirit of Mo army to hold at rear pass so no any King Zhengnan troops could pass beyond Feihong pass
• MXY found YL. Her dress soaked with blood but not injured, beside her was HMY with many small wounds, proof that he protected YL well. HMY, although didn’t have any official title but decide to stay in Feihong pass. FZY trusted YL with him, so in this Feihong Battle, HMY has become YL’s last protector. MXY thanks him. HMY thought that maybe after this MXY deep grudge of his betrayal will be better
• MXY found King Zhengnan still fighting with LTH at city wall. Then, finally this became the final battle between MXY and King Zhengnan. LTH follow because he thought for King Zhengnan used such a method to boost his strength then why he should maintain 1 vs 1 fairness
• At night, when General YP at rear wall had almost couldn’t hold anymore, hoofbeats heard again. This time the real 800,000 troops came. Soon the winning could be decided. While on other place, MXY, LTH and King Zhengnan still lock in combat. Only until dawn King Zhengnan lost. LTH finish him with one stab to heart
• For all battles until this final one, all was under MXY calculation. The only he missed was YL decided to stay at Feihong pass and her thousand Qilin. After all, a force of just over a thousand men seemed too small no matter how elite. Originally MXY had prepared for Feihong pass to be completely wiped out. But unexpectedly it was this force that saved Feihong pass   
• The battle was finally over. Both sides had paid cruel price. Early next morning, YL came to funeral of Qilin’s. She played a very melancholy song with zither.
• On the height near Qilin’s grave, HMY talk with MXY. What had happened, rationally speaking it wasn’t MXY fault, but emotionally, probably anyone would want to slap MXY. But from start to finish YL hadn’t speak any single word blame MXY. During these year HMY paid attention to MXY, he sensed many times MXY almost losing control before steadied himself again and it all because of YL
• Now HMY understand why FZY was so concerned about relationship between MXY and YL. If MXY was a peerless sword with an exposed blade, YL was the scabbard. If MXY was a superior thousand-li horse, YL was the reins that could control it. Between the two, neither could be missing
• MXY leap silently and sat beside YL. He took the zither and play that melancholy song in better way and finally YL cry hard in MXY’s embrace
• With the war concluded, MXY & YL set out to Li City. After 10 months, they had pacifying Northern Jin, expelling Northern Rong, defeating Southern Chu and Western Ling. XQC congratulate MXY for defeated 4 nations but MXY said all because of XQC so he could campaign with peace of mind. This is not flattery, as saying goes provisions move before troops. Leng Haoyu and Murong Ting 

• Murong Ting (MRT) was daughter from military general family. She was good friend with YL and capable in martial arts
• MRT was betrothed with Leng family second young master Leng Haoyu (LHY). MRT disliked LHY since childhood but LHY always stick close to her
• Later MRT followed her father to frontier, but when she returned, LHY still liked deliberately provoking her anger. They always fight like cat and mouse
• Everyone saw LHY as flamboyant playboy who chose to always play outside and didn’t want to inherit his family business. Behind, he actually a capable man who manage nearly half of Prince Ding assets
• When MXY and YL went back home after reinforcement came in Yonglin, MXY promise LHY to push forward his marriage with MRT
• So, not long General Murong agree for their marriage and proceed with simple wedding at border
• After that, LHY and MRT went back to capital. In Leng family mansion, MRT found everyone looks down on LHY. The Leng eldest brother that she thought was a proper man comes not like that, on contrary LHY that she thought was a playful playboy can be serious and often stay up late in his study and later she knew that LHY do business with Prince Ding and was one of Prince Ding trusted subordinate
• When Prince Ding occupied northwest, LHY and MRT stay lowly in Great Chu capital while provide information and do other business for Prince Ding Mansion
• Later after five years passed, they meet again with MXY and YL in Great Chu capital
• After Great Chu Emperor passed and business close in capital, LHY and MRT went to border to help LHY’s father. They left their three years old son, Leng Junhao to YL and MXY to be MXB playmate 

Xu Qingze and Qin Zhen

• Xu Qingze was Xu family 2^nd young master or eldest son from YL second Uncle. Qin Zhen was YL best friend. XQZ and QZ were betrothed since childhood
• Their marriage was definitely, though XQZ was a cold person but they respect each other. However, when YL was sent to northwest while MXY were still in northern Rong as head of marriage envoy, XQZ insist to accompany YL, delay their marriage
• Second Madam Xu very dear to this soon to be daughter in law. When capital was in chaos and Xu family about to be execute, QZ together with all Xu family went to northwest
• In northwest, QZ reunite with XQZ. Xu family and YL start to plan their wedding

Mu Yang, Yao Ji and Qin Feng

• Qin Feng (Qilin commander) was in his duty to escort maid from Prince Ding mansion in capital to go to northwest. He happened to meet YJ and help her and bring her along with her son to northwest
• YJ ask YL to find a simple and lovely family for her son. YL arrange to settle her
• Couple days later, when noble envoys from foreign country came YJ serve as head of finest restaurant in Ruyang, Lingxiang Pavilion. A restaurant that served best wine and best food; best dance and best music but never a brothel
• In these five years YJ spend her life well in northwest. She matured and get more ability. One time, QF ask hairpin from YL. That hairpin was only 3 in the world, one was the one YL’s keeps for her, the other one YL gifted to Qin Zheng, the other one with lotus design was what QF ask and now YL saw it in YJ head. QF had feeling for YJ, but YJ still hesitant because of her status as dancing girl with son
• One day YL got news from LHY in capital that his move in capital was limited. YJ ask YL to send her to capital   
• Back to five years ago, MY mansion actually had a deep grudge with Prince Ding. MY was ordered by Emperor to kill YL, hence YL being chased and fell at cliff. So, YJ knew that if she was sent to capital, it means she will be spy in MY mansion. YL a bit reluctant to send YJ, first because of QF, second afraid YJ still have lingering feeling for MY and at the end it will only hurt YJ. But, because YJ insist, YL finally agree, YL think that YJ also need to finish it to move forward
• So, YJ went to Great Chu capital with a son who actually not hers. Her real son grew with a lovely family in northwest Li City. The son who came with her was a child trained under QF. Both successfully enter capital and got into Mu Yang family. In these year Mu Yang didn’t have children, so his parents welcome YJ and her son Mu Lie (ML)
• YJ and ML manage to stay well in Mu Yang marquis mansion. MY’s wife Madam Sun hate them and many times try to kill YJ & ML, but with ML’s ability they keep stay save, even MY’s parents gradually take their side for their smart and virtuous behavior
• After Emperor die, MY mansion loyal to MJL. At the final battle between Mo Army and MJL, YJ & ML succeed to tips MJL troops defense map, make Mo army easier to win battle
• In short, MY and his father fall to the trap that MXY had laid to avenge for them tried to kill YL years ago. Come to think of, others who tried to harm YL already find their doomed, but MY mansion still alive. When MY finally knew the truth, he only could laugh before his death 
• After MY death, ML comfort and let YJ cried. After all, YJ knew MY really love her, but MY never listen to her. It always his noble status over her. MY never could defend her and her son, even when his own family tried to kill them. It was Prince Ding mansion from beginning who save her. YJ already picturing this would be happened when she asked to be sent to Great Chu capital as spy, so she only felt a bit bitter for this fate  
• Later, she went back to Li City managing her restaurant and quietly collecting news for Prince Ding mansion. ML, accepting QF as his foster father change his name to Qin Lie (QL) and be MXB personal guard
• At war, YJ often sit at QF’s private room in restaurant to hear news. Until, QL happily pull her to welcome QF and Mo army who returned triumphant at city gate. But, YJ refuse and let QL go alone
• After a while, QF came. YJ said they were not suitable and returned the hairpin. QF said too late. Finally, YJ spoke blatantly about their status was different. She was dancing girl with son while QF was the most elite Qilin Commander with prospective future. If QF marry her, he will be laughed by everyone. Then QF drag her to Prince Ding mansion
• In front of YL and MXY, QF ask to bless them marriage. YL ask YJ, which YJ said no. Then YL said to QF about the punishment for forcing a free woman – 300 strokes. QF accept. MXY said to YJ to rest assure that after the beating QF won’t get up again and YJ still a free woman
• YJ couldn’t quite process what was happening and how things suddenly developed serious to the point of beating QF. Seeing YL about to call someone to execute punishment, YJ quickly called out misunderstanding which QF not force her

• That sister was Hua family young miss. She sent FZY to Prince Ding mansion and ask MXY to exercise martial arts with him
• Later, this young miss Hua bestowed a marriage to current Emperor. FZY knew that their status was deep different because he was only a concubine son. But, night before wedding FZY still come and ask young miss Hua, can you not marry him? Which she replied with heavy heart, cannot. Then, that night FZY leave a walnut size night pearl as wedding gift
• Since that night, exactly eleven years and six months, they never met. This night, FZY sneak to Palace to look for Biluo Flower and come to her. FZY asked her again, could you just run from palace? Which she replied again, cannot
