I thought this was a series that would explore and address a social issue in a healthy, rational way.

Instead, the series f e a t u r e s a toxic, u n f a i t h f u l woman who—seeking excitement, passion, and an escape from her pressures and problems—turns to infidelity.

The writer fails to offer any healthy, rational, or logical solutions. Rather than having the characters engage in dialogue, try to work things out with their partner—or, if that fails, simply separate—the narrative takes a different path.

The writer essentially says: "You must cheat, and I will justify it for you—and for the lawyer, too! You aren't actually toxic people." The series then concludes with them getting back together—a "happy ending"—with the writer concocting every possible excuse for the protagonist and her partner to reunite.

Stop insulting my intelligence! The actors gave great performances, but the story and the writing represent one of the most trivial and foolish ways to approach real-life social issues. The justifications and "solutions" provided are absurd—even some animals, like swans or beavers, remain loyal even after losing a mate! How much more should we expect from a rational, adult human being who is psychologically and intellectually mature? Honestly, I hope the protagonist ends up with the lawyer—haha! A toxic woman and a toxic man—they deserve each other.
