I think the director wanted to showcase the main lead's son's power in the end, but it had to be epic and meaningful. That's why, earlier, the writer/director chose to kill the main lead and then used his son to bring him back in the end.

BROO it was kinda gimmicky how they gave nuri some random power that they didn't even explore at all + the ending was rushed BUT WHO CARES i can excuse it all bc the loml GWIJU SURVIVEEDDD yess

we needed a season 2 or more episodes, i hate dramas with 12 eps. the ending is always rushed

I don't care if it was cheesy and easy I was just happy we got our happy ending!
