Gosick and Spice & Wolf are my personal all-time favorites, but I agree that After Story is in a league of its own.

1. Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z: just because it was the first 2. Princess Mononoke: whoever likes anime, must like Miyazaki 3. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya: 'cause it changed the world of anime 4. Clannad After Story: very sad, but very good 5. Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance: the tv series is awesome and this movie is the best thing of the franchise 6. Spice and Wolf II: Holo, Holo, Holo. Enough said.
