Recommend me some twisted anime series

;) I was expecting more of it - it's being praised as one of the best animes ever produced but I found the plot was lacking, the nudity was uncalled for and hell, the bloody things were random and looked plastic. If you cut off an arm it's not going to be totally straight and the bone's a little white dot in the middle... erm I guess I will also laugh creepily at this point. *Creepy laugh*

Do you also read twisted manga?

I have seen Elfen Lied, and Gantz from that list. But here are some good twisted anime i think are worth checking out:

-Ergo Proxy
-Eden of The East: Paradise Lost
-Berserk (old anime, but AWESOME, and twisted towards the end)
-Witch Hunter Robin
-Vampire Hunter D: Blood Lust

If anybody else has mentioned any of these anime, I apologize, but I cant go through all the pages..... (2 minutes later) okay never mind there are only 2 pages =_= Im so lazy... :p

I agree with golden on Darker Than Black, another good one. And I just remembered, Blood + was also good... I read Monster mentioned by Lis.. I started watching that anime but couldnt finish because I was busy with a lot of stuff, but its really good. Very twisted, although it might not have the same effect it did when it first came out as the subject has been pretty over done already, but its such a great anime it won awards internationally... I have to finish it. Its also based on a book.

I've only read that it's going to be a live-action movie - but the only picture I've seen is the girl with the eye patch and I guess it could be a cosplay human as well.

Ummm i haven't watched many of those but try -Eden of the East -Black Butler (i don't know if it's really what your looking for. but i have seen some of it and it had some kinda twisted parts) - Death Note

haha yes it is the first one that comes to mind when i think of twisted anime lol. Have you seen the movies? are they any good?

haha yeah 2 i think. i was in shock when i found out to :p. i wanted to know if they were good because then i would rewatch the series because theres a lot i don't remember lol.

I've seen Ergo Proxy, Vampire Hunter D and Blood +.
Also I'll start with Monster then I'll watch Another as everyone talks about these two.

I already downloaded Eden of east, I'll probably watch it later today. I'll also watch the movies.

uhm not sure if Mirai Nikki is twisted enough but you should watch it. Gasai Yuno is probably the queen of yanderes *____* haven't watched Another yet but I heard it's full of gores so yeah :U Higashi no Eden was okay...but does it really counts as 'twisted'? XD

Most of the animes so far recommended are really not twisted at all except Ergo Proxy.

I was expecting a specific anime to have been listed 10000x before I got to the end of the thread.
