1.To know the popularity of a drama check the Index of the drama for Tencent 28K index means Hit, 30k means popular, and 32k+ means explosive, if it's a tv drama check the tv rating, if it's a satellite channel 0.5% CVB is good & for a free channel like CCTV 1.5% is considered good

2. Vlinkage, Aiman, Datawin and weibo all of them are based on the popularity of a drama like interactions on online,

Vlinkage - 85% is considered as good 90%+ considered as explosive(very rarely dramas cross 90%)

Datawin - 2.5% considered as good and 3% is considered as excellent (very rarely dramas cross 3% on datawin)

btw it's quite easy to manipulate all these sites with the paid Hot searches and all...


3. Yunhe site shows the per day views, if a show has 50m avg views by the end of the show considered as good to excellent and 100million avg views dramas considered as explosive drama in last 2 years only two dramas crossed 100million views per episode (THE KNOCKOUT and JOY OF LIFE2)

How to read the charts for viewing

1. Kuyun chart: issued by Kuyun organisation. This chart count the market share which includes both TV and website-based broadcasting. The total views is estimation number with the unit of 10 000 views

2. Yunhe chart: this chart only count the market share for online (website based) broadcast. The total view is estimated number with unit of 10 000 views. Thus for example number of view 1196 is corresponding to 11.96 million views.
