I did the same thing by going to see the comments, hoping to finally see something more positive, but, alas, I found that it was even worse, as if the haters were satisfied to conclude their complaints. When I see a hater who left a comment saying that this drama is propaganda for marriage, I wondered if they had really watched the drama.

This drama raises several important questions, such as:
- Should we encourage research on fertilization in space? (thinking about the cost, about accessibility, about the limits not to cross, etc.)
- Are we allowed to destroy morulas or to consider them as embryos? (one of the bases of this drama)
- Should we prioritize the life of the mother or the child when the mother insists on saving the child? (eternal question that brings me back to other dramas)

I really liked the actors and the characters. I was just bothered by Ryong's stubbornness in holding such a violent grudge against Eve: he knew they had done something illegal with Kang and that they had been caught. Everything else was the consequence of their actions. I think it was his pride that was hurt and he dreamed of showing the CEO that he had been wrong about her. It was this disproportionate reaction that would lead to Eve's death.

I'm not at all a fan of sad endings, but sometimes, I admit that they make sense, and that they can end up being beautiful if they are properly framed. This one is one of them, although I find Eve's death very cruel. She had so much to do with her daughter, so much to rebuild herself with Ryong and perhaps to end up forgiving her biological mother. Maybe the author was thinking of making her pay for the destruction of the morulas.
Of course, for the end I would have loved it to be the first one, I was in full happiness in front of my screen, but alas, it was the future that Ryong imagined when he saw his daughter appear. I even found it cruel that the author offered us this scene.

Finally, just a clarification, it is not science fiction, but simple fiction based on existing technologies. Science fiction is based on future technologies (hyper space, time travel, etc.)

@jyb34 couldn't agree more, the drama took on a philosophical take but people can't comprehend it and just judge it first hand with a shallow mind especially about the characters action and motivation

@jyb34 thank you for that clarification.

I would like to submit a reflection ; I haven't seen any comment saying that the image of the fetus in space could be an allusion to  Stanley Kubrick's movie  "2001 A Space Odyssey", where this fetus is one of the last images of the movie. Kubrick had chosen this symbol because it was inspired by a  Lennart Nilsson's photograph called "A Child is Born" (1965) which symbolizes a new great beginning .

I think I'm going to rewatch this drama because I wonder if I missed some other details.

I loved this drama. I feel like people who do not like it do not understand what kdrama is.

Same, I think so too, I was talking to my Korean friend about this series and she said her family watched it together every weekend. She said they were all hooked, along with her friends too but they don't go on websites to give reviews as they watched it directly on TVN and never think about writing or rating a series online.  When I visited S.Korea ly, I noticed how people watch Kdramas on the train, bus, while on lunch etc. It was amazing to see how serious they are about watching their favorite dramas.  I really loved tand enjoyed this series,  only the ending got me abit sad but there can't always be happy endings.
