Anyone here who intends to go to Milan Fashion Week for Zhao Lusi at the Versace SS25 show on Friday, Sept 20, 2024 at 8 PM (CEST), either reply here or message me so we can hook you up with other Zhao Lusi fans who will attend! :)

It is somewhat quiet here, but I am sure the birthday is being duly celebrated, after the hectic weeks of promoting The Story of Pearl Girl (lovely drama), doing live streams and taking part in the Weibo awards 7 hours extravaganza, where she took home a Youth Role Model award.  

Rosy has changed her looks, shortened her hair, but looks lovely, such as in the live stream from a few days ago, which is in full on YouTube with English subtitles ; it was a cook-in with Liu Yuning and Daddi Tang, just before she flew to the Weibo ceremony. Hello Sasaki, although I am not the gatekeeper of the cult, since I'm here today, I will welcome you on behalf of the keluli who keep quietly but warmly thinking of our favorite actress during her recovery from the alarming health accident she suffered, and which is keeping her away from set since Dec18.

So, you "caught the bug" to ship Rosy after having devoted yourself mostly to SK dramas?  How did you get to know this special place here? You candidly say you are new to Rosy's work, but your entry with these iconic dramas will perhaps lead you to many hours of excitement and enjoyment while you explore her past catalogue of dramas and a few movies. She is only 26, so hopefully there's still a long and bright future ahead for her in c-ent, to delight those who follow her.

Anyway let's keep the Rose Pavilion a warm and sweet scented place to rejoice about her work, talents, beauty, songs, love of the guzheng, of animals, and good friends who stay by her in need when they can, and send well wishes from where they are, when duties keep them away.  She was sorely missed by many among the beautiful people who appeared yesterday at Weibo night, where her latest drama and her future ones should have been honored like those of colleagues who stood signing and photo shooting in view of the airing of future works. Her friend and co-star Liu Yuning was there for them both, since she was still unable to take part.

Adding the picture and link for another song 全是爱  (Quan shi ai/All love : English translated lyrics here) which she performed in another New Year TV event in February 2024 together with original singers ; Zhao Lusi knows, I believe, all the songs of Phoenix Legend, a beloved pop group of the 2000s which started with a duo between an Mongolian and a Han singers. Rosy often hummed or sang the chorus of their funny 郎的誘惑 Wolf's temptation  such as here, in what appeared as viral support for her former colleague Chen Zheyuan's then airing drama, after the airing of "Hidden Love".  (Not the first and only time Rosy showed friendship and support to former colleagues and co-stars of her ; she also does less well known support for causes she believes in).

While waiting for the next drama (a mature but sweet story which she played in with William Chan) here is a message posted yesterday by one of her colleagues in the drama which is waiting  for her to return shooting. It sums up both our wishes and trust in Rosy's recovery :

The Chinese lunar New year will be on January 29, and that's not far away, and although we'd all like to see her participating in a gala like the one in the video above where she danced, nobody should frown if she only returns after that festival, which is time off work for most people in China, a traditional rest and get together with family period lasting 15 days till Lantern festival, and with 8 days off for  public holiday until Feb.4 this year.

Time has flown since last, and a lot has happened while Rosy did her uphill battle to recovery. She now again has a busy schedule, but is careful to keep it at a level she can handle safely.  She is not up to go back to the drama that got stopped when she went to hospital. So perhaps that ill fated one will get scrapped despite the hard work she put into it.  
But Rosy has done an awesome documentary which you can watch by clicking on the picture below; it is 1h20 long.

The song by Duàn Àojuān 段奥娟  is 小小的勇气 (Xiǎo xiǎo de yǒngqì, A little courage)  She used  to be a member of Rocket Girls 101 graduated from PD101 China 2018, and has sung many nice songs, for c-dramas like The King's Avatar, Life Is A Long Quiet River, recently, two songs for 2025 Filter.  Full list of songs on this page.  Among the songs she sang,  there were two  Zào Lùsī dramas :
