I honestly really liked Shine on Me (2025) because the relationship between Nie Xiguang and Lin Yusen felt super healthy and realistic for once. There’s no toxic drama or controlling behavior—he actually supports her growth instead of trying to “save” her, which was so refreshing. I also loved how they give each other space and communicate like actual adults instead of dragging out misunderstandings. Xiguang is such a strong female lead too—her career and personal growth are just as important as the romance. Overall, it’s one of those dramas that shows love can be supportive, equal, and still really engaging to watch.
