As a historian, I’m fascinated by the revolutionary and long-lasting changes the Zhou dynasty brought to Chinese civilisation. After all, it was at this period that the concept of the Mandate of Heaven was implemented, as well as the Tianxia worldview that would be so influential in Chinese history.
So I was wondering if any notable films or drama series exist in this particular time period, either about the period right after the overthrow of the Shang or later in the era. But preferably prior to the Warring States period.
