Her intelligence is downplayed while her so called inability to get a relationship going is highlighted.  YES SHE IS A DOUBLE MAJOR in finance and journalism at one of the top universities - she has this personality where she can get interview easily and her interviews are well planned and intuitive and she wrote great articles that are widely read.   It did seem like her 2 timing EX BF chased her for her beauty and nothing else. He probably felt inferior and inadequate being with a beautiful and intelligent woman , who was very career oriented .  Not an excuse to two time!
