Did they ever explicitly state that Kunwu is in NBIS? Or just speculation? He could be operating through people like Ling Han, right.

I think one thing is for certain though - when Friday comes and everything is revealed, we'd be scrolling back at these theories feeling absolutely dumb that we missed everything lol 

Muzhi is the one who suspected Kunwu to be at NBIS. But considering he tried and failed to find him for 5 years, maybe he got that wrong.

The reason I think he could be someone outside of NBIS is there are already a ton of Japanese spies in NBIS. Why does Kunwu need to expose himself like that when he already has a bunch of moles stashed there? Also Kunwu seems to be following Milan around a lot. How does he have time to do that if he were stuck in some high post in NBIS where he has to be at meetings etc all the time?

Ling Han is on my top list and I am happy if he is Kunwu. 

He is also the same height with Chengyi, like the poster, even if heights can be manipulated for a promotional poster. 

Yes, he is the one YHS has been suspicious from the start, and he was always around, in Shanghai then Changsha. 

Ling Han also has the people working for him, who probably the one who followed Milan around. We know 1 janitor, but he could have more working for him.

Or someone who looks at the photos of Hongqi and Milan. Yeming drew a very detailed picture after looking at HS's photos, even hours later.

Maybe for this picture he drew it himself since he did not work in the office at night.

We talked about Ling Han cannot be Kunwu since he could not follow Milan around as in managed to paint her picture with all his works.

Isn't her picture the one with Hongqi pulling the rickshaw, taken during the day? 

Even though the show and HS are heavily hinting that KJP is Kunwu, are you guys convinced? There are still 4 episodes to go and as of 2 episodes prior, all fingers were pointing at LH (ps: I'm still upset about how they closed LH's storyline!). This could change again today with 35-36. 

Logically, KJP is the prime candidate to be Kunwu as it seems (as of ep 34) that he has always been in control. He was perfectly positioned as Branch Head and had his mission go unnoticed under the guise of searching for the mole. He falls within the age group and is clear of HS' identity. And most importantly, he was playing his game right in front of our eyes as the audience! To have sacrificed all those Japanese agents is downright cruel but on point of with how dangerous Kunwu is. At this point, KJP being Kunwu would upset audience the least, but would it delight us? 

I'm holding on to hopes that the writers can pull off a magnificent surprise! TBH I don't know if anyone can pull off as magnificent a surprise that MLC did (iykyk), but I've been chasing that high ever since.

I initially wished for LH to meet a gruesome end for what happened to Nainai but I can relate to how his story is delivered.

As for KJP, for me it is clear now, unless we will be served with a plot twist in today's episodes.

Everything that he's done to the Yun Family thus far has been heinous. He died too quickly.
