Sorry silly question, as in not knowing and then later finding out (as in they might not have known each other yet during the rescue), or like the MC sees someone in danger (can't recognize them) and then after the rescue they realize it is the other lead?

Oh, it doesn't refer to their relationship. I meant MC didn't know that they saved someone's life.

For example, MC is about to commit suicide. But suddenly sees some child is running towards road and can be hit by car. So, MC runs and catches this child. Child saved MC's life without knowing it

So, basically any saving with no intention
