What do you mean by "worked for you"? That I agree with idea or like it?

And only movies are welcome?

1. Train to Busan - it started my Kdrama  obsession. Saw it on Netflix. (I don't know if this is what you meant)

2.) Reign of Assassins - I don't have a single complaint about it. It wasn't too overdone, it had great action, an immersive atmosphere, terrific acting, a cute and subtle romance. I can see myself rewatching this one again and again.

3.) 7 Days: Monday - Thursday / 7 Days: Thursday - Sunday
I just really like understated romances.

4.) The Library - I don't know. When it got to that final end reveal, I realized how effective the film as a whole was. It snuck up on me and made me bawl like a baby.

5. Love, Lies - everything is put together here, cast and acting is great, story is worth watching. Last scene made me cry. I liked how they shown revaluation of art after decades. And I think the idea of this movie is one shouldn't waste their talent and life on revenge

“Worked for you” - ones that caused an emotional response (except for really disliked). It made you laugh or cry or think or just hit the right spot for reasons you cannot explain.

Yes only movies. I figured since most responses here are dramas I’d go for something differen, and if I only have enough time or energy to invest in a shorter story, a movie would be a good choice and I would like to have your input.

6. The Rurouni Kenshin series. I can’t reiterate enough on how much the movies stayed close and true to the original work. And as a fan, it’s definitely given me much joy to see a live action which is adapted successfully.

7. The King and the Clown. This movie just gives me emotions which I can’t describe. That feeling of hope and despair portrayed by the main characters always get me bawling.
