10 dramas/movies with calm and smart antagonist/villain

Kinda tired of all those eccentric psychos

Bonus points for strong motivation to be an antagonist/villain

1. Psychopath Diary - doesn't really have a motivation to be a villain per se, but damn, just way too suave and cool. The ML was the one who was all bumbly and naive.

2. Mouse - same as the last. They keep you guessing as to who the villain is, and even after you know who it is, it's just so weird to see them do all the antagonistic stuff while being so unbothered

3. Arthdal Chronicles-Tagon. He is a grey character who truly wants to do good but has to deal within a prejudiced system stacked against his kind. One questions if  he really is the true villain? His every move makes sense even the cruel ones. You can empathize and understand his vision to the degree it  does not seem like a bad idea for him to win.

4. Bloody Heart - he definitely was a villain in eyes of main characters but I see him as an antagonist, considering his motivation - building peaceful country without a tyranny from the king. He's calm, smart and cunning kingmaker and eminence grise

5. The K2 - Choi Yoo Jin is the most likable female antagonist. I was rooting for her and ML instead of the FL.  She has to fight for everything. She's so ruthless but vulnerable.

She's one of whom I thought about suggesting this topic!

6. My Heart Twinkle Twinkle - ML is  a calm villain, but actually he is a grey character.

8. Bossam: Steal the Fate - tho he had poor motivation (power greed), he was calm and smart. He was a politician and power behind the throne. Despite his actions, I appreciated that unlike his hot tempered son he never raised a voice and kept dignity

I'm not the 10th poster, but here's a topic:

10 in which a professional matchmaker is a main character.

I know perfect one!

1. The Princess and the Matchmaker

2. The Undateables (as far as I remember FL works in dating agency)
