Hehe. I was debating back and forth on that one too.
Because they didn't choose to be immortal. Nor were they born immortal. And he didn't like being immortal. So it was kinda a curse for him.

that was my thought process, too. since he wasn't born immortal, he'd have to have been cursed with immortality to have become immortal.

Thousand years of you is no. 8, as one drama above doesn't count
