Based on the speed of this topic completing, seems like it is a fairly common occurrence in kdrama. I could only think of one partial one in cdrama, and it was using Chinese characters to "spell" a name + the Chinese characters for an actual word (the drama was called "Winderella's Diary")

Voice in the Rain, yes the ML is a model/actor. Not sure Perfume fits. If referring to the kdrama, the ML is a fashion designer/CEO, not a model.
