10 titles where a lead is closer to a maid/nanny/teacher than to parents

This person can be a child or an adult

This person wasn't abandoned by parents, they are alive but distant from their son/daughter (mentally or physically)

Usually, it's "lonely rich kid" but not necessarily

I don't know count or not. But the parent died, yet when alive he's not close to with his dad

1. The Story of Ming Lan - ML

2. Hana Yori Danggo (all versions)

3. Stay With Me - not sure if this counts because it's not a person who's specifically a nanny/maid/teacher, but they are a parent figure. Wu Bi is closer to Su Yu's dad than he is to his own dad

4.Love Like the Galaxy- FL took the Empress as her teacher / mentor and  filled in as a mother figure. She had a strained relationship with her family, especially her mom who was overly critical of her.

4. Alchemy of Souls - not sure this counts as it may be a form of abandonment but  ML was left in the care of nanny and father's friends.  The father took care financially but physically left

I didn't get about Love like a galaxy - did FL become motherly figure herself? My request was about leads who were a kid in this situation (currently or in their childhood)

Alchemy of souls count  as "alive but distant physically", since his father technically didn't abandon him. Yes, he believed it wasn't his son and left him alone but ML lived by his name, in his house and with his financial support
