Dramas Rated 10

Japanese dramas:
1 Litre of Tears. Such an amazing drama. I still cry everytime I watch it.
Bloody Monday. This drama was so exciting! I had to pause the video many times on every episode just to breathe. lol
Hana Yori Dango 1 & 2. I think that MatsuJun is the best person to have portrayed Domyouji so far. It was such a cute drama.
Kurosagi. Yamapi stole my heart with this drama <3
Seigi no Mikata. Hilarious drama.
Tatta Hitotsu no Koi. I actually didn't like this drama the first time I watched it, but now I've watched it at least six times. I love how simple and real the story seemed.
Zettai Kareshi. I usually don't like dramas that are too unrealistic, but this drama was way too cute to ignore. Loved it!

Korean dramas:
High Kick Through The Roof. My first korean sitcom. I watched it without subs and still loved it.
IRIS. I love how this drama was like no other. It never got slow and annoying.
Save The Last Dance For Me. The first korean drama that I watched from start to finish.

Taiwanese dramas:
Silence. I love love love this drama!

I have only given 2 tens & they were to IRIS & Iljimae.....maybe theres a pattern developing here where i give 10s to dramas beginning with the letter "I" hmmm I may have to explore this theory further.

I have over marked some dramas giving them 7/8 points (or indeed even continued to watch them) mainly cos I liked the actor(s) in them prime example would be Mary Stayed Out all night / Boys Before Flowers etc But even then if drama isnt any good no amount of hotness can presuade me to give a 10 where it is simply not due

Usually my level of enjoyment of a drama is highly dependent on its quality (especially the cast), so it's pretty easy to stay objective on whether it deserves a 10 or not. Although there are exceptions. My 10s:

Hana Yori Dango - exhibit A of an exception. So many flaws in this drama (especially the first season), but I loved it so much, I can't bring myself to give it anything below a 10. It was also my first Asian drama, so its got that special place. MatsuJun played out the character exactly as I'd pictured when reading the manga, and better. Which never happens with manga/book-to-films.

Secret Garden - Probably my all-time favorite drama.
City Hunter - I usually wait until I've finished a drama to rate it, but this is so good and so beautifully done that I was compelled to go ahead and give it a 10 before the episodes had even reached the double digits.

Greatest Love may receive a 10 as well, but we'll see. And I'm already loving Myung Wol the Spy, but we'll see. One that probably deserves a 10 but can't bring myself to give is Coffee House. I even dropped it at about 14 and skipped around from there. It may have just been me, but although the Lee Jin Soo character was genius and perfectly done by Kang Ji Hwan, I could not bring myself to like him with either female and couldn't stomach watching the rest (the Eun Young character is fantastic on paper, but the actress really rubbed me the wrong way). Maybe one day I'll go back and watch the rest of the episodes just because I adored Jin Soo so much. It's worth giving it a shot just to watch him.

I want to confess in this thread that I judge people on MDL based on what they give a 10 on their list. I don't mean judge, as in if you're a good person or not, but if your taste in dramas matches mine, or is good.......imo. Lol. I love doing it cause there is a such a diverse group of people on this website!

From the ones on your list that I have seen, that you gave a 10 to, I can see why, but for most I had them as a 9 or 8 I think.. mainly because of the ending
