It took me awhile to finish LoveSick. I almost thought I wouldn't. I really enjoyed the friendship group, more than the MLs relationship story.
I think it could have been less episodes, but my main issue was No. The constant hard-to-get behavior plus acting like he doesn't know anything half the time. I get they are young and in school, but still...it was wearing on me, lol. And so many misunderstandings!! Yikes 💀
Looking forward to seeing how cute FC Soldout is! The story sounds good.

Yes! Those two are cute but exhausting. I have to keep reminding myself they are kids. You’re right, if the show had been shorter, it wouldn’t be so hard to finish, because it feels like never ending one thing after another 🫠

I find that I also sometimes like things better on rewatch - I think because I know what to expect, so I can watch it in the right state of mind. I remember that "Kieta Hatsukoi" was one like that: The first time I watched it, I was expecting a compelling BL, so it didn't do much for me. Then on the rewatch, I was expecting a cute comedy - and I loved it!

RE LoveSick 2024 (15 eps)
I'm laughing -- only because I suffered through the OG Love Sick (12 eps) and Love Sick Season 2 (36 eps) then I was silly enough to do a re-watch, but a cut one without the TaengMo and Jeed stories, which you didn't have to suffer through with the remake.
Oh, this surprises me - especially as I thought I remembered you being not so keen on not only most JBLs but also some of these titles. There are even two I've not watched yet ("Seven Days" and "Restart").
I thought so! I have shared my BL list in the past and mentioned some of these titles as ones that I really enjoyed. It's also possible I might have mixed up a few titles when everyone was discussing them. Ops! So good, this list clears up any confusion, lol.
Anyways, yeah. I started with K-BLs and J-BLs about 5 years ago. Later I added Thai BLs.
As a matter of preference J-dramas aren't my thing, but I have said early on in this thread that I found J-BLs to be better than straight J-dramas.
