Yes! I am sometimes really amazed at how good certain first-time actors are. Another currently airing one is Kim Jun Seo - although he's an experienced idol with lots of on-camera experience, his lead role as Daon in "Secret Relationships" seems to be his first time acting in any kind of drama. And back when Jimmy Karn starred as Saifah in "Why R U?", he was a total novice and immediately shined as such a natural actor. (I remember the director talking about his amazement with him in the workshops.)p43425:

I was not expecting to enjoy this series as much as I did. This being from a smaller BL producing country such as Cambodia the budget is not as robust as Thailand or South Korea, but it was still enjoyable flaws and all. I was hooked from the very first episode with how the leads met.
The plot twist that reveals why it is called Boy Toy took me by surprise to be honest. The chemistry is very much there in my opinion. They tackled some serious social realities (I do not want to spoil too much).
All I can really say is that I love it, and they actors delivered in the emotional scenes in episodes 10 to 13.
If you have the interest and time I recommend that you give it a try.

Thoughts on yesterday's ep. 7 of "Flirt Milk":
(1) Sadly, this series is becoming less of a train wreck. (I say "sadly" because the first episodes were a train wreck of the strangely fascinating variety.)
(2) Happily, I'm growing more and more fond of this series in the normal cute 'n fluffy BL way as the BL relationships start to get interesting. (The GL storyline, however, not. Yawn.)
(3) The arrival of Noey not only makes the relationship geometry more complicated but also raises the cuteness coefficient by several notches.
(4) Have I mentioned that I have a pervy fetish for cute, pure, naive nerdboys with glasses?
Next up: ep. 20 of "Perfect 10 Liners", which will be the highlight of my Sunday.
There's also the finale of "Boy Next World", but I first need to watch up on the last two episodes.
