You guys' day sounds productive. I spent the day at home sick. My morning was horrible. It is now 9 pm where I live, and I feel better but not recovered, so I will be cancelling my day tomorrow and staying home. There is nothing I hate more than not getting things done when they are planned. I guess I could just read some cases tomorrow to prep for regionals 🤔 ahh nothing like competition to fuel my soul.

Just got home and watched today’s episode of Leap Day. I know it’s not a BL series, so I’m not sure if it’s okay to talk about it here (let me know if it’s not!). But I’m loving it! All the actors are absolutely killing it, especially Pond and Gun. They’re amazing! Now I'm going to watch Gameboys. I’m completely hooked on this series!Ju Moon:
I have heard of this series from others. As usual I will not be watching because it is not BL lol. Not that I do not watch straight dramas (I am currently watching season 1 of The Penthouse Wars). I just do not usually watch straight dramas with BL actors in it. I am more attached to characters than actors themselves, so I do not really feel a sense of commitment to watch actors despite the type of drama. However, I do enjoy reading the reactions and reviews online.
As for Middleman’s Love, even though I rated it a 9.5, I absolutely loved it. Yim had me laughing so hard! I think both he and Tutor are amazing actors. It’s impossible not to adore anything they’re part of.
I just want to make it clear that I also adore Yim and Tutor and am unable to not adore anything they're part of. And as to "Middleman's Love", the first two episodes were painful to watch, but (1) it got steadily better after that, and the last two episodes were really good (not only Tutor & Yim reaching fruition but also Gus & Tong in ep. 7 - wow!) and (2) I blame the director, not Yim. I would never blame Yim for anything!
By the way, can I give you a recommendation from one obsessive Tutor/Yim fan to another? In 2023 they did two really cute Tiktok micro-series, "Our Winter" and "Crush On You" which are absolute musts for obsessive Tutor/Yim fans. I don't see either on your watch list.

It's complicated but in a good way. One of my besties was a pro photographer and he would take me on projects and outdoor trips to get good nature shots. Not to mention I have tons of travel, food, art and family event pics too. But not many selfies. I don't like being in front of the lens. And if I see anyone (family!) including me in a live vid they better run for their lives. 💀

Just a little of my initial excitement has worn off. It's still an okay watch so far, but it's going at a snail's pace, both the story and the romance. I'm wondering how the age gap will be handled. It seems like quite a gap in different ways. The younger lead had even been calling the older lead "uncle" until he asked him to stop.

I'm really liking this show for all the usual reasons. For now it's unfolding as one possible gay and one straight couple. But there's just enough twists & turns that anything could happen.

Now watching episode 1 of "Secrets Happened on the Litchi Island", a little known but highly rated Chinese BL which just recently finished airing. It's only seven episodes with a total runtime of less than two hours, and so far it looks quite good. Warning: Hard subtitles which are fairly small, so unless your Chinese is really good, it's essential to watch this on a big screen.p43425:

i watched it few days ago and i like it , the words that come to my mind after watching it is that its beautiful, and there is times when i watch something and feel that they genuinely worked hard to make the show good, a short bl that left a good impression, i highly recommend ✅❤️
