@ju moon

i am glad you liked Takara-kun. It is very sweet. I like all the dramas you said you rewatch, although I have not seen Blue Canvas of Youthful Days yet. It is on my ptw list.

i know several people in this group adore Until We Meet Again but it was just too sad for me. The double suicide flashbacks almost every episode were too much. I may be extra sensitive because I have mental health issues and also know people who have died by suicide.  But still I can usually handle suicide as part of a storyline anyway. For some reason UWMA just hit me too hard. Maybe because it’s moving.

in general I am also very sensitive to difficult coming out stories. Both my wife and I have parents who were disapproving when we came out. Over the years they have gotten better and are mostly accepting now but it’s still hard sometimes. We are well past being young and unsure but i still remember so well how tortuous some feelings were and how ashamed I felt about them. Also when I came out as bi it was not always accepted even in the gay community. (Yes, I’m old.) there are always challenges though. I now identify as pan and not everyone understands that either.

ok enough life confessions. I hope they gave someone something to think about at least.

A very Happy Belated Birthday to @Indie Art Girl 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳

Awww thank you!!! I missed you!! 🫶🏼

I am still learning the technical aspects of using this page, such as tagging people, inserting multiple quotes, using any sorts of graphics (like for the group challenge) etc.

i usually use the MDL webpage not the app and I use it on an iPad. Anyone want to friend me so I can ask technical questions as I go? im open to any other suggestions for learning how to use this page better.

thanks

Thank you for sharing your story. It's hard to hear and I'm glad to know time has helped with your parents and in-laws. It doesn't totally go away, of course.

I totally had the same experience with this drama. It's a trigger for me. A close family member committed S. I think I watched the whole drama, can't remember for sure now, and I felt very depressed afterwards.

That was a turning point for me to check on the content of a drama before starting it, if I can. It's also partly why I am picky about what I watch. That and heavy on the school bullying are non-starters the majority of the time.

Hi & welcome! Do you have a fav BL?

A recent topic is what BLs do you rewatch?

Or what are your comfort BLs?

I'm not very techie but I can help with the basics if you like. Or maybe someone familiar with the iPad would be better? I don't use a iPad cuz it seemed to be that websites on iPads weren't as user friendly as on a laptop or desktop, but maybe that's improved? Plus I needed more options for my large photo collection. But I do use a Mac.

Some dramas are just too hard. Thanks for being understanding.

Thanks for the offer of tech support. Even if you can help sometimes that would be great.
