A question if you have a WeTV subscription. I got this to watch Top Form and Knock Out. It will also give earlier access to the Fourever You sequels so I will probably keep it. I want to take advantage of the subscription and watch exclusive content. I have watched Love Mechanics twice and Manner of Death.

Most of the WeTV BLs have low ratings, but they can still be fun. Do you have any particular recommendations?

I have added Hard Love Mission to my tbw list because Tonliew being cute is enough reason for me to watch.

Same. It was undeniably a trainwreck but of the kind that is cute and strangely engaging. I liked it!

Yeah, WeTV is the least essential of my subscriptions, both in terms of non-crappy exclusive content and as a technical platform, but it has just enough to make it worthwhile, plus I got a two-year subscription on a very good special offer. Also, some of their content is geographically limited, e.g. "Destiny Seeker" is a decent watch (with cuties), but you might have to VPN to Bangkok or wherever.

Aside from the titles you mentioned ("Top Form", full series remake of "Love Mechanics", "Fourever You", etc.), WeTV also has exclusives on "609 Bedtime Story" (with Ohm Thitiwat and Fluke Natouch, and although it's a confusing mess of a story, I rather liked it) and the uncut version of "Addicted Heroin" (which I quite liked on its own merits, i.e. without comparison to the Chinese book and two series upon which it's loosely based).

Two other WeTV exclusives which I enjoyed, despite their flaws, are "The Renovation" (light and fluffy) and "Memory in the Letter" (more serious). Both are quick watches. 

Theoretically there's an "uncut" version of "Cooking Crush" (with Off/Gun + Neo/Aungpao) on WeTV, but I'm not sure what the differences are from the Youtube version I watched when it was airing. Anyone know? Since it's comedy more than a BL love story, I can't imagine it's anything juicy. I know most others weren't so keen on "Cooking Crush", but I liked it, so maybe I'll re-watch this supposedly uncut version and find out for myself.

My Golden Blood - episode 10

My suspicions were correct. I knew there was something off about Miss Thara ever since her insistence that Mark and Tong break began. I am honestly not surprised.

I am a little apprehensive about how the writers are going to go about concluding the series in regards to Nakan's character. I would hate for there to be an insubstantial redemption arch. 

I look forward to the next episode. It is amazing to think that, we were desperately waiting for this series to air not so long ago, and now there are only 2 episodes left. Time is an astounding element of life.

Omg, just finished episode 11 of Top Form and this might be the BEST BL of 2025! Boom and Smart absolutely nailed their roles. Boom’s emotions hit different—he’s such a pretty crier, kinda made me tear up 🥺.

The whole cast was straight-up amazing, and honestly, it’s wild this is the director’s first project. It already feels like a full-on masterpiece, so imagine how great his next stuff is gonna be with more experience.

Also, I’m pretty sad it’s already over. My patience for the next season? Honestly, running thin. Now I’m just hoping the next season comes soon—let’s all pray to the BL gods to bring Season 2 to us sooner or something! 🙏😅

I just finished also. I totally agree. I loved it and SmartBoom were fabulous! Very impressive. And I don’t feel that way about most BL actors. But these two had chemistry and talent. I hope they continue to succeed and give us more wonderful moments.
I hate it when series I love ends because I miss the characters. I will be watching this one again for sure.

i saw that even before today Top Form was the highest rated BL on iMDb. It does have it all so I can see why. I wouldn’t say it’s the best BL I‘ve ever seen but it’s definitely now among my favorites. And Boom is now among my favorite actors. I think he, Pond Ponlawit, Up, and Khao are the best talents. But I still love Phuwin just because.

as far as best BLs of 2025 this is definitely up there for me with The Heart Killers, although Secrets Happen on the Litchi Island was still the best thing I’ve seen.

I was thinking about ratings and how I choose them. I never give anything a 10 because to me that’s perfect and nothing is. So my highest rated dramas are a 9.5. Also I never give anything less than a 6.0. I figure if I can sit through it it deserves at least that. But most things I rate between a 7 and a 9. I try to assess the quality as well as my enjoyment. I give an extra .5 points if I really liked it or end up rewatching it more than i expected. But in retrospect I wonder if this is the best way to do it to help myself and others assess a show’s quality. Are my ratings too close to each other? I find it hard to be harsh though because I can find something to like in most shows as long as they’re not boring. I do hate sad endings though. So that could ruin a decent show for me.

Well, for me, after I watch a drama, I just put in the first rating that comes to my head cuz it just feels right, depending on how much I enjoyed it (just trusting my gut instinct)

The Ex-Morning will premiere next Thursday. I've watched the trailer and I still don't know how I feel about it. Krist and Singto are one of the OG BL couples and it's been almost a decade since SOTUS have aired. Honestly, I've got over the fact they'll never again appear together on screen, and this year suddenly their love is alive back from the dead and my heart is confused. Should I be happy? Should I be excited? Should I be worried? For now I'm feeling numb.

How do you decide? What’s most important to you in a good show?

I usually make a pretty vibes-based assessment for my ratings. i'll take into account things like production, plot & pacing, acting skills, etc. but at the end of the day if i had a good time watching it for any reason, it'll get a higher rating from me. usually what matters most to me for bl's specifically is chemistry, an engaging relationship dynamic, and good nc scenes 😇 i rarely give out lower ratings but when i do it's almost always because i just got bored while watching.

and i totally get that on 10 ratings. nothing is ever perfect to me so i just reserve 10's for my all time favorites
