Im so confused or maybe I'm just slow but like what's the meaning behind "Coming of Age" Films? Like I don't know if I'm missing something or perhaps I just probably don't understand it that much.


Maybe when a teenager experiences some "firsts" in their life?  Like first love, first job, graduated HS, maturing into an adult, sometimes by learning life lessons the hard way.

The Next Prince: Uncut - episode 5

Khanin is my favourite character out of all the currently airing series I am watching. He knows what he wants, and gets it by any means; it is his way or the highway which is so me 🤣 maybe that is why I love him so much lol

This was a fantastic episode. I will reserve my comments about Ramil and Phethai's relationship for now because I have nothing nice to say. All I can see is sick and twisted abuse. Phethai is willing wearing a slave chain like a dog. I do not see it being kinky in this case. Look how I said I would reserve my comments lol.

This may seem odd, but I am actually not cheering for Khanin to win the competition. The feminist in me is cheering big time for Princess Ava. I want her to win, oust her father, and take the throne. This is unlikely to happen, but that does not mean I cannot dream.

I am looking forward to Calvin and Jay get some more screen-time to watch them fall in love.

I am looking forward to episode 6.

Coming of age films and series focus on that period in teenagers' lives where they transition from childhood to adulthood. In these works the teens' moral, psychological, and physical growth are explored to display their maturation journey. These works often have cliches such as first kiss, loss of virginity, prom, moving to university or college, coming out to parents (for queer works), making huge adult decisions in the face of conflict, out growing certain habits or friends, moving away, etc.

Lying around is a great way to relax. 😆 It hasn't gotten really warm here yet. Actually it's been cold and sometimes rainy. I feel like I've been transported to Seattle against my will. I can't do gloomy days. Bleck!!
