I scrolled through all the posts and MMP is my pick for now! Just to be open-minded I'll give Secret Lover a try. The nice thing about starting smth is stopping it anytime too. I can be cold-hearted when it comes to dramas that don't work for me.

I don't have a problem watching dramas on YT. YT is my second home.  I have a life too, lol, but as a single I can spend my time however I want. Woot Woot! 🥳 

I don't like vertical dramas and avoid them like the plague.  💀

I better catch up with Reset before the last ep starts!

"Historical BL", loosely defined, can encompass a broad range. It feels odd to lump "Blossom" together with more realistic period dramas such as "Linger In The Air" or "Nobleman Ryu", as it's more "historical/fantasy/costume", with an emphasis on  the latter two aspects.

I was referring specifically to Chinese BLs and dramas. @Indie Art Girl explained to me once the different categories of Chinese dramas with the aid of an article. Now, do I remember clearly the explanation, no I do not lol. If she remembers I would really appreciate the article being posted again for my benefit and others who are interested.

I know there are about three categories (could be more) - Historical, Wuxia and Xianxia. I believe a BL that would fall under any of these categories would be referred to as Danmei in a general sense, then the use of one of the above categories would narrow down the genre it falls into.
