I have decided to take a mini break from the currently airing bl and watch KinnPorsche. So I am now working on my math homework that I had all weekend to do (but didn't) and also watch KinnPorsche.

Haven't seen that one. I'm still a bit new to BLs. Enjoy. 😊

I'm pretty good!

Kill To Love is only 12 eps and only abt 30 mins long. For an historical that's very short, but average for a BL. It's one of the few historicals to actually be a BL with very romantic lovey dovey scenes and not a bromance.

Hi everyone,

Is this a good place to ask what dramas you are currently enjoying or your favourites of 2025?

Welcome to the club.

I am to sort of I started watching back in January and I have been mainly watching currently airing shows but every so often I try to watch a older bl. At the moment I am mainly watching My Magic Prophecy, Revamp, and secret lover.

Stay By My Side After the Rain EP 4   or  Another Reason Why I Have a Hard Time With J-Dramas

Yeah, that would piss me off too 😒

 RXinw:

Yeah, that would piss me off too 😒

I'm happy to report EP 5 of the Stay By My Side After the Rain situation I wrote about in EP 4 was resolved well and positively. Now both female co-workers are supporting Kanade and his dating choice.

I'm not used to a J-drama that resolves things that quickly or easily and without yelling, lol!

Fine with me, so long as I get my dearly beloved Namping - but you might have to fight duels with some others.

 Indie Art Girl:
Yeah I get it. I see a story that I get excited about and then it's in "V" format. 😔

I used to carry books around to kill time, but they kept getting thicker and my bags kept getting bigger 😂  so I had to switch things up. I’ve got a bit of a trauma around waiting, so I always need something to keep me distracted.

hank you for the beautiful analysis of Shine and the side characters you like.

Shine is such an interesting series. The characters are so deep, I swear each one deserves their own dissertation. But I might be a little biased cause Apo and Mile have my heart and I absolutely love shows set in the 40s through the 70s!

 GS:
Kill To Love...ep 8...the whole bridge scene was amazing and the snowy kiss scene was great.

Same here!

 Indie Art Girl:
The Last Night trailer. Looks scary!

Looks like I’ve got no choice but to learn to enjoy horror series. But when the scary scenes hit, I’ll just close my eyes and think of them in Shimane. 🫣🫣

 p43425:
OK, just watched the final ep. 6 of "Dogbro".

I had to put this one on hold because of the subtitles. Now that it’s finished, I’m planning to binge it this weekend and if the subtitles are still a mess, I’ll just make up my own story and roll with it. 😂

Hi everyone,

Is this a good place to ask what dramas you are currently enjoying or your favourites of 2025?

Hi! 2025 is seriously delivering when it comes to good series. Right now I’m really into Shine, Kill to Love, Memoir of Rati, Khemjira, and My Magic Prophecy. What about you?

Hi by my luck: Such a perfect way to kick off the week! It’s simple but so good. I’m totally hooked. Fun, heartfelt, and full of charm. Honestly, it feels like watching Only Boo, My School President, and Boys in Love all rolled into one. My cutie pies Only Boo didn’t disappoint. They’re super charismatic and feel so natural together. I loved how Mawin keeps lifting Err up and helping him gain confidence. I have a sneaky feeling Mawin might actually be TK, fortune teller 👀. And Abracadabra is so catchy and dancey!

The proper way to write love :The writing could’ve been tighter less screen time spent on the salon competitions would've helped but I still really enjoyed the series. What I appreciated most is that it doesn’t try to romanticize love. The main characters are flawed, and it’s those flaws that make the story feel so raw and human. Hiro and Natsuo are both starved for affection. They’re lonely, insecure, and use love as a way to cope with their pain:Hiro uses it as a shield, while Natsuo seeks redemption through it. That push-and-pull between them creates a cycle of closeness and distance, revealing their self-destructive tendencies. They sabotage what could be healthy because they’re afraid of getting hurt again. It’s a powerful reflection on how our past shapes the way we love and how we let ourselves be loved. My favorite quote: "No matter how much your looks or appearance might change I know I'd fall in love with Hiro over and over again."

Bl Challenge Most improved BL couple: Not sure I can fully take on this challenge since I haven’t been following BL for that long, so it’s hard to judge how couples have evolved over time. But maybe Pond and Phuwin? I remember them from Never Let Me Go. The chemistry was already there. And in We Are and their off-screen moments, they’ve become so much more relaxed and playful. You can really feel the genuine affection and mutual respect between them in interviews.

( I just wanted to read the clubbers comments on The promise of the soul, but never mind)
