Kill To Love is only 12 eps and only abt 30 mins long. For an historical that's very short, but average for a BL. It's one of the few historicals to actually be a BL with very romantic lovey dovey scenes and not a bromance. 

How is the plot? Interesting?

Hi! 2025 is seriously delivering when it comes to good series. Right now I’m really into Shine, Kill to Love, Memoir of Rati, Khemjira, and My Magic Prophecy. What about you?

I'm currently watching The Promise Of The Soul, ABO Desire, Secret Lovers, Doctor's Mine and The Nameless Season (mini). I think I like The Promise Of The Soul the best but most of them started well and now I'm not so sure.

I am to sort of I started watching back in January and I have been mainly watching currently airing shows but every so often I try to watch a older bl. At the moment I am mainly watching My Magic Prophecy, Revamp, and secret lover.

already finished my favorite was Reset, but Top Form was also great. Others from the beginning of the year that I loved include Perfect 10 Liners, Your Sky, Fourever You, and the Heart Killers.

I was recommended to start Perfect 10 Liners at the start of the year so I'll look into that. Thanks for the list. That helps. I can compare with shows I've watched as well. 💜

I'm glad there are many good BLs coz i'm in a drama slump. 🥲

i‘m so happy to find someone else who likes anti reset! I loved it and thought it was really touching, but a lot of people have trouble with the robot thing. To me it’s different because he’s actually going beyond his programming and developing the equivalent of feelings! So I don’t see it as just a robot romance. But it probably wouldn’t bother me anyway. The actors were really good too.

 It's a fav for the same reasons u said. I love robot themes and interspecies romance when done well, so I was disappointed with Eternal Butler. It just wasn't the same for me.

RE: Kill To Love

It's the typical fight for power plot within the family and the struggle to protect their own dominion over the land kind of thing. It's not boring but not unique either. It being a BL in a historical setting is what stands out, cuz it's not hidden or left to the imagination of the viewer.

IMO, if this was a straight historical it would be average for me, unless the main leads had a really great connection & chemistry.

It's on my PTW. Everyone has said it's intense and emotional, so I have to be in the right frame of mind to watch it.

I'm back! Got home yesterday afternoon and went straight to watch 'My Magic Prophecy' EP 6, which was fantastic. They really took "The Lovers" to heart. I've always liked JimmySea (my second BL was ViceVersa), but MMP hits different. The chemistry is just chemistrying 😂

I still haven't watched 'Khemjira', but the plan is to watch it tonight~

On another note, and not exactly BL related. Have you guys watched the spot for PondPhuwin's fancon in November!!! I bet this concert is going to be so cool ;;

Day 27: Favorite Taiwanese BL

For the longest time my favorite Taiwanese BL was Plus & Minus (which I still love) but See Your Love came around at the end of last year, and completely stole the spot.  

That reminds me that i need to do a re-watch😛
