Welcome!

"I am not easy to understand

But you hold out your hand

And you say you love me just as I am

you always treat me the best that you can"

Song: https://youtu.be/a6n3LQYB3xg?si=uPw27lIk629xypZX

I was watching My Magic Prophecy and this song started playing on my TikTok. I became very distracted after that. I wonder if it is because our parents were partying to these songs why so many of us Caribbean people have such good waistlines 😂🤣

Anyway -

My Magic Prophecy - episode 7

This episode brought In's fears into focus in a very real way. Watching the love of his shot and bleeding cannot be easy for me, especially considering his fear of losing loved ones due to his past.

This series continues to deliver palpable scenes; where one simply sits back and experiences the emotions with the characters on screen. JimmySea make a wonderful pair of actors.

I look forward to the episode.

Waiting at the airport so I finished Connect, a very short YT series with no MDL page, so I started a new off-line list for Completed BL Dramas with no MDL page.  I'm not sure why since it's a Korean title, but maybe it's under the radar.

I remember trying to submit a new title ages ago but it turned into a lot of work and it still wasn't enough, lol.  Connect wasn't all bad but not that good either. If I rated it I'd give it a 6-6.5. That's a "not very good" to "just okay" according to my rating guide. 😆  5 is my bottom number just for context.

Anyways, hoping I'll have a chance to watch the newest ep of Stay by My Side After the Rain late tonight.

is it this one? https://kisskh.at/798798-connect

Swing Kick Pilot - Calling all boxing fans, lol

Its giving KnockOut vibes. Cant wait though, its a nice change to have BL in sports.  I haven't seen too many of them.

welcome to the club ^^

 Indie Art Girl:

Welcome! Wow, you've been on MDL a while. 😊

Have u recently discovered BLs and do u have a favorite?

I am into BL manga/manhua/manhwa for quite some time (I can be considered elderly here 👵🏻). Back in the time there were not many bl dramas, only recently, I noticed that there are some popular bl dramas on Viki, and after seeing Khemjira on Qiyi, I got excited and  logged in to my mdl account after a very long time. I was hoping to find more bl drama but it feels even better to find this community!

 dora:

Welcome!

idont see any BLs on your completed or PTW list. Are you looking for recommendations? What kind?

Hi! I don’t have a specific taste on other formats like bl novels or bl manga, as long as stories are about adults. (No high school etc) For BL drama, honestly, I didn’t even know that it was this popular in the first place.  Even though I myself am a BL fan for a long time, I’m pleasantly surprised. I am watching Khemjira right now and I loved it. I appreciate recommendations 😍 can you also tell me which platforms are you watching them? I saw some mature content on Reddit and wonder which platforms are showing those.

can you also tell me which platforms are you watching them?

In additiion to Youtube, the main four subscription platforms for (legally) watching BLs are iQiyi, Gagaoolala, Viki and WeTV, with iQiyi and Gaga being (arguably) the most essential. Gaga is a small LGBT platform which is especially strong for JBLs, where it is often the only international platform. Viki used to be stronger for BLs, and they still have a strong, high-quality library of past BLs, but they don't seem to be licensing many current-release BLs these days (maybe because of more competition from iQiyi and WeTV?).  WeTV is arguably the weakest platform of the four but seems to be stepping up its game with strong recent BL content such as "Top Form" and "Knock Out".

I happily subscribe to all four. Sometimes they run special offers (e.g. I got WeTV cheap for two years on a special offer).

Content can vary by region - for example, a particular BL might be carried on iQiyi in the U.S. but on Gagaoolala in Europe. Or sometimes content is only licensed for certain countries (e.g. Thailand). Therefore, I often use VPN.

For reels (i.e. the new mostly vertical micro-series), Shortime seems to be the best for BL, but it's obnoxiously expensive on a paid subscription basis, so I'm just using it with the free coins ("popcorn") one can collect every day by watching ads. (Same for Swipedrama, Dramabox and Vigloo, although their BL selections are very limited.) If anyone knows of other BL-relevant apps, I'm all ears.

I watched Mu-te-luv yesterday and have few questions

I want to join

I love the BL banners, badges and pics. So creative! I have no clue how to select and add one of the banners to my user page though?
