Well, that's disappointing. I really loved them together in Memoir of Rati that just finished recently. I would have loved to have seen what project they would have been in together next, but they gave us a fantastic series with that one so what more can you ask for. They're both fantastic artists individually just as much as they were together.

I have only seen F4 Thailand but I don't even remember seeing him. He must have had a minor role. Thanks for mentioning his work. Might keep an eye out for Ticket To Heaven.

sorry to get a little off topic bc this isn't really about a bl but i recently watched Asog (and added it to mdl) and i highly recommend giving it a watch. it's a queer movie which is why i'm posting here in case anyone's interested :)

all the actors play themselves in the movie and the plot is heavily based on their real lives. despite most of them not having any formal acting training, everyone gives an incredible performance. it's funny, it's heartwarming, it's educational, and it's a very hopeful and inspiring story (much needed for many of us rn lol)

It took me four days, but I've finally read through pages 2123 to 2256 and I'm up to date with this forum. I've only avoided some reviews and spoilers, but I'll be coming back to them later.
I wish I was here more often, but things just keep on happening in my life and not necessarily the positive things 😐

On a positive note, last weekend a manga convention took place for the first time in my town and I was hosting a panel on dramas (BL included). It was really nice to see people my age getting interested in dramas and it was fun to talk with the young ones. For a change, the youngsters talked to me like I was their friend and not a woman old enough to be their mother 🤣
One person asked me if I could recommend them a BL with a switch couple. The only couple that came to my mind were Puth and Kaeng from Y Destiny, but surely, there are more. Could you help me think of some?

Because of the said convention I'm behind my watching schedule. I'll be catching up this weekend.

Serious question to some people in this forum: do you remember all the actors you claim? Or do you make a list not to forget? Because some of you have quite a few of them...

Interesting information. In case of Poland it would be illogical to start a week on Sunday since Thursday (czwartek) and Friday (piątek) literally mean the fourth (czwarty) and the fifth (piąty) day of the week.

I've watched The Untamed, because it was super hyped and everyone seemed to love it, but I had a hard time watching it. I couldn't get into it until the last 20 episodes. I personally don't consider it a BL, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I'm glad you enjoyed The Untamed 😀
For me personally, The Untamed can't hold a candle to Word of Honor. That was as close to a BL as a Chinese bromance could get. WoH was to me what TU was to many others. I love this drama dearly. I tortured my besties with it for nearly a year, talking about it everytime we met 🤪 Just the thought of this drama evokes all these memories and feelings in my heart...

P and Pan's NC scene is a great choice. NC scenes can express a lot of things: love, lust, passion, longing, anger, heartbreak and so on, but I rarely see those showing joy and fun. And this is exactly what those scenes in ep5 and ep7 have shown. I saw two people genuinely enjoying each other's company, being engaged in a playful conversation and having fun while making love. I think it's an important aspect of successful relationship: to have fun together, even during intimate moments.

Doctor’s Mine ep 7
This is mind-boggling. So that thing everyone thought has happened – did not happen? What about that memory? Was that all just an imagination? I’m beyond confused. All that worry for nothing. Knight and Mild had a conversation and now they’re back together.
Knight’s mum is the best! She’s a great mum not only to her own son, but also to her step-son and future son-in-law.
Per and Kan broke up and got back together. If they survive this storm (namely Per’s mum), they’ll probably survive anything. Good luck to them.

Doctor’s Mine ep 8
I’ve decided not to think too hard about what’s going on in this drama. In this episode everyone went on a trip (to volunteer) and everything seemed to be going well. Main couple has talked things out and now they’re back to being lovey-dovey. Same with Per and Kan, after they got back together everything is going well, but I bet that Mayo guy will try to come between them (as if Natcha wasn’t enough). Third couple’s romance is about to start, since Tum broke up with his toxic girlfriend and Klah is always there for him.

Secret Lover eps 8-9
It may sound weird, but I’m so glad they broke up. They both needed some time apart to think things through properly. Hopefully Jun Xi is now ready to take the step forward (and hopefully his parents will turn out to be open-minded), because it seems that A Tuo’s boss is not going to give up easily.

I’m the Most Beautiful Count ep 6
This is getting more and more interesting. We’re learning more about the characters’ past and their motivation. I really don’t mind this love triangle, it’s interesting both with Woradech and with Prince. These two are clearly very different people: Woradech seems soft and delicate, Prince is much stronger and braver. Even though Kosol saved the damsel in distress, I think Prince is a better match for him. Banjong is a coward and unless he grows a pair he should just stay single. Woradech deserves better. Prince’s got a very clear goal in his mind – going back home, so he doesn’t let love divert his attention. For now, Kosol is just a fling.

ABO Desire ep 11
At this point I'm watching it only for the main couple, the second couple could not be there at all for all I care.
Did you see these doctors’ reaction to Hua Yong? I told you scientists would love to run some experiments on him. I wonder how long it’s going to take Sheng Shao You to forgive him, because it seems like Hua Yong is coming to his rescue, again. I wish they both just sat down and talked, but nothing is ever so easy, is it?

Khemjira ep 5
This episode was quite uneventful and we’re getting further and further away from horror. Hoping for something more exciting next week.

Love Sea JPN eps 1-6
I liked the original, even though it’s not among my favourites. My expectations for this remake are quite low. It’s okay so far, but it leaves me neither hot nor cold. I’ll keep watching, I might change my mind by the end of this series. Maybe it’s just me, but I find Japanese Vivi more annoying.

The Ex-Morning
I’ve finally finished watching this. It’s not the greatest BL, but it’s a treat for SOTUS fans. All those small references to Sotus filled me with nostalgia. Chemistry between Krist and Singto is still there and they certainly stepped up in their skinship from 2017. The story was a little weak in this drama and the reason for their break up was ridiculous (for me). I enjoyed their wedding at the end. Full traditional Thai wedding for a gay couple? Yes! Since Thailand legalised same-sex marriage, I’m expecting more scenes like this in the upcoming BL dramas.

Revenged Love
eps 1-10
I haven’t read the source material, but I’m familiar with the plot (the novel is more intense though). I’ve seen the original adaptation in 2015 and I enjoyed it, so I was very hopeful about this remake. Right from the start the vibe felt different, like Revenged Love took itself more seriously. It clearly showed more of the novel’s plot and I’m thankful for it.
The thing is, the novel is not the newest, so I felt Wu Suo Wei is one of those ‘I don’t like men, I just like him’ type of guys. Even though their whole relationship was build on lies, I could feel their feelings becoming real, especially on Chi Cheng’s side.
I felt for Chi Cheng in ep 9, I really did. His snakes weren’t just pets to him, they were family. I totally understand, because that’s how I feel about my cats. If I had to choose between one of my cats and the person I loved, I’m not sure I’d be able to make such a choice. And even if I did, I wouldn’t be able to look at myself in the mirror. I appreciate Chi Cheng’s sacrifice. If that isn’t true love, than I don’t know what is.
eps 11-14
I’m really glad we’ve got to know Guo Cheng Yu and Jiang Xiao Shuai’s love story at last. In the original adaptation their storyline was pretty much non-existent. They make a nice relationship, much healthier than the main couple’s.
I also loved how Wu Suo Wei started genuinely care about snakes (the things Chi Cheng loved).
eps 15-19 - ‘I hate this part right here’
Watching these five episodes was a pure torture. I swear, the older I get the less patience I’ve got with misunderstandings and lack of communication. Plus, Wang brothers were getting on my nerves.
eps 20-24 - ‘Ubi tu Gaius, ibi ego Gaia’
We’ve got a happy ending, so I’m glad. I’m not crazy about this drama, but I had a good time watching it. I think the actors did a really good job portraying these characters.
I’m not judging, but Chi Cheng and Guo Cheng Yu’s friendship felt weird to me at times. I adored Wu Suo Wei and Jiang Xiao Shuai’s friendship though.

Now I’m just waiting for Advance Bravely and Beloved Enemy remakes. I just hope they won’t stop making these Chinese BLs 🙏
