Yeah, It is a bit tricky to follow at first, but I'm finding it interesting despite the confusion.
I haven't watched ep 2 yet, but from what I understood, they were introducing the mystical beings without much context. The clinic's name is Gumiho, so I'm guessing one of the guys is a gumiho. The other one (in the forest) seems to know Bihyung so he must be another mystical being. That’s all I got lol.
I feel like I need to rewatch some parts too before moving on to the next episode.

Ah yes, I bet you're right. He's the doctor, so I assume he owns the clinic.
I'm also guessing that the doctor is Bi Hyeong's brother and that the fable of Heungbu and Nolbu might allude to them.
if you're right about him being Bihyung's brother, then I wonder if they have the same mother.
After rewatching the story of Bihyung parents, it felt like they only had one son. Unless they left something out on purpose.
The end of ep 2 looks like he just had a nightmare, so I'm not too worried about that.
I finally finished up to EP 9 of Memoir of Rati and really it's a very well done series!
I'd enjoy it even more if I wasn't looking over my shoulder every time Rati & Thee had sweet time to themselves due that mean SOB of a father of Dech's, not to mention Thee's unbending grandmother. And I find it interesting that Thee has such a strong backbone considering his father has none.
My watching experience with Boom & Aou's roles leaves me feeling mixed but not sure why exactly.
I'm loving the prince played by Guy. I looked him up and he goes waaaaay back, as guest & support roles only. He was never on my radar before. I think I'll send him flowers! He's had a long career and deserves it.
Crossing my fingers hoping Rati & Thee aren't old and grey by the time they get together. Still, I guess that's better than not at all. 💀

i love fantasy stories, i like the intros of this show and i find it entertaining 😁
