Memoir of Rati - Finished!

Hey guys! Thanks for the encouragement to watch this sweet drama. It wasn't over-the-top (specially the servant's roles) and I thought there was a nice balance of good & evil characters. 

Both the main and secondary couples were very dedicated, hard working and overcame odds to ultimately be together in their futures. I'm glad the time gap wasn't too crazy long, but also realistic.

This is silly but one of my fav scenes is when Rati ran to dive into the river the first time and lost his pants. It was cute to see how much Thee thought Rati was so endearing. It showed in his expressions, which I also loved. 😆

I wasn't feeling a romantic connection between Dech and Mek, not even towards the end.

It certainly helped the cause that Thee's fiancé conveniently fell in love with one of the other Frenchmen.

I can see why fans were sad about Great & Inn's decision. They were really good together in this series. But that's life!

I'm so happy that you enjoyed it. And yes, I'm also sad to hear they won't be working together anymore. 

This song "The Moon Represents My Heart" 月亮代表我的心 is one of my favorite songs. The song was featured in the series Moonlight Chicken and the guys from the series did their own cover of it at the time. I had no idea Perth & Santa sang this together recently also.

The original Taiwanese movie "Marry My Dead Body", of which "Red Envelope" is a remake, is likewise on Netflix (everywhere, so no need for VPN). It's more gay-themed comedy-action than BL (and no HEA) - but I loved it, too!

Yesss I watched Marry My Dead Body during the summer at my friend’s house and we both enjoyed it so much! It was so funny and Mao Pang-Yu was a cutie!
