I'm torn on what to suggest to you here, because I commented on this as well how utterly disappointing and lackluster the ending was. It started strong and for the entirety of the series it flowed so well and it was a really decent series. If you like supernatural storylines, particularly ones that are based in cultural lore, you'll like TCL. Plus lots of pretty boys that are also not terrible actors at the expense of being pretty. I honestly don't know what happened with the final episode other than they just couldn't figure out how to tie off the end of the story. 

That said, like I said, I'm torn I want to suggest to you, because the overwhelming majority of the series was solid and is worth watching. If you don't mind that the ending will not be substantially satisfying, I'd say add this in as a plan to watch when you've got nothing else to watch in between episodes or new series drops.

Regarding The Wicked Game,

Honestly, I never thought I’d end up liking this series so much, even with all its flaws. You're right, the ending was a total mess. It felt like they didn’t know how to wrap things up, so they just killed everyone off. Such a wasted chance to give the show a truly interesting conclusion. Like you, I also wanted Risa to face justice. Her ending felt way too easy. And your idea about her bodyguard secretly plotting against her? That would’ve been such a great twist! 👏👏   Another thing that bothered me was how Than’s whole journey to restore his reputation got lost along the way. I heard there might be a second season depending on how viewers respond, but honestly, I’m not holding my breath. And about Chet, in that final moment when he asked Park for a favor, I had tears in my eyes, hoping he was about to ask for a kiss... 😢😢

As for The Cursed Love and The Wicked Game, it’s not that their stories are bad.  I’d compare the endings of both shows to writer’s block. The author builds an engaging story but, when it comes time to wrap it up, just doesn’t know how. Maybe it’s pressure from the publisher to deliver, but the result is an ending that doesn’t live up to the rest of the work. Both series lacked sensitivity in how the finale was put together. As for the ratings of The Wicked Game, Daou and Offroad’s popularity definitely plays a role, but the whole cast delivered solid performances, something I can’t say about The Cursed Love. Still, I admit I’m biased because I tend to be generous in my reviews. 🫣

Chosen Home is so underrated! More people should be watching this show. It’s beautifully written and brilliantly directed. Every character adds a thread to this rich, intricate tapestry, with their stories weaving together in such a powerful way. Honestly, it’s a little masterpiece.

I plan to watch this I just have so many shows on my CW list. Plus I tend to add new ones based on which are most likely to get spoiled if I don’t watch them as they air.

i follow a lot of BL fan groups on FB and IG so people post clips the second a show airs in Thailand if it’s popular. So I added Thundercloud Rainstorm and plan to start Reloved today, since I’ve already seen some spoilers for both. But I want to start Chosen Home if I can. I just also am trying to make myself catch up on shows that are over but I haven’t finished. It’s a juggling game for sure! lol.

Just now finishing today's ep. 7 of "School Trip".

A narrative technique in well constructed BLs that I especially appreciate is going back to what happened and retelling it from a different perspective, providing the viewer with new insights - and that's what they did here. Thumbs up.

I like this technique as well. It also worked well in Akasaka s1.
