A new episode of Duang with you was airing today but I'm going to take a break from it. I already have enough dramas bl and non bl to watch every week and I'm going to add soon Only friends dream on. I think I will enjoy it more when I binge watch it.

Just watched ep 2 of My Romance Scammer and am loving this series a lot already. I just cannot get enough of Junior & Mark; they have such great chemistry. And once again, Poon is so dang adorable! I can't stand it!! I think he is a great match for Ohm. Since Fluke is no longer Ohm's partner, I think Poon is the absolute perfect choice to be his partner. I'm sorry this may be harsh, but I'm so immensely glad to be rid of Marc as his partner.

They really do!! I'm loving it! Both are doing a fab job. Junior has taken his role to another level. It's going to be a fun watch ahead.

I came upon this article published today https://the-bl-xpress.com/2026/02/22/republican-era-styled-bls-with-an-edge/ and it made me stop. 

In the article, the author lists a number of Thai and Chinese dramas taking place in the 1920s or so and categorizes them as Republican Era BLs. 

Am I wrong in thinking that the Republican Era usually refers to China during the 1920s only? Is the same period in Thailand also called the republican era? If not, this kind of shortcut is misleading! They are different countries with different histories!

Definitely not. 

The Kingdom of Siam was an absolute monarchy until the Revolution of 1932. Since then, the country is called Thailand. It's never been a republic, it's a constitutional monarchy. (There have been times with more liberal democratic constitutions and times with military dictatorships, but there has always been a king.)
