Smoke Blue no Ame Nochi Hare is also very hot! We've got 10 episodes of it so you know it'll be good. I'm just hoping for the best, hoping it won't disappoint. So far, so good. They really making the hot JBLs right now. :)

Click on the checkmark on my profile to get to the page where you need to actually write down your phone number to verify that way. Then you'll get the checkmark too. Only if you want to, that is.

I watched the first ep of Yatara Yarashii Fukami-kun and as someone who has also watched the anime version, I’m a bit disappointed. I know it’s only the first ep and it might get better, but I don’t know what it is but something feels weird.

I've seen 9 eps of Duang with You and I just can't with the secondhand embarrassment I'm getting from Duang. Some eps were really good but the majority were just alright. I had to fast forward sometimes which I usually never do.

What do you think?

What gmmtv bl comes next?

Right now gmmtv (only) airs 4 titles 1gl and 3 bls so I ask myself what comes next. I don't know what titles started script readings, workshops, filming, and if some finished filming already. I know that some are in Qs but I don't know if they are at the beginning of filming or the end. so if anyone knows more than me please share your thoughts or theories.

Please don't sleep on - The Boy Next World: My Destiny

People are unjustifiably critical of it even though the Japanese drama improved upon the Thai original. The story has it's flaws but that is a problem in both dramas. I feel the jdrama is quite underrated and captured my interest better than many other dramas I have seen this year.

The story is related to parallel worlds so if that is your thing, give it a shot.

I agree with you on Duang With You. I was watching ep9 and was bored out of my mind! Duang's character can be cute at times but often times I find him so cringey. I like him best when he is sad. The actor depicted those scenes best.

I ended up watching ep10 in 2x and there were times when I thought wow, this is in 2x? It was so slow moving. I think ep 6 - 8 were good. Ep10 had some nice moments like the flashback scene of Qinn. But this whole story is so average. If I had to sum it up - Guy 1 likes Guy 2 because he is cute and chases him till Guy 2 gives in.

I'm conflicted about whether to rate this a 6.5 or 7. Let's see what ep 11 and 12 will bs like.

I think I will watch the Japanese version instead of the Thai one because I would like to see Nagumo Shoma again. He left a deep impression in At 25:00, in Akasaka.

The unexpected NC scene though...

The one on the couch or the one in the car? Because my reaction between those two were vastly different 🤣🤣

It's notable that Netflix, which has long lagged in BLs outside of the local Asian markets, is airing more and more BLs globally - recently "Khemjira", and starting later today "Dating Game".

I think everyone already knows about "Khemjira", which was my favourite BL of 2025, but since I've also already seen "Dating Game", I will say that it was an unexpectedly enjoyable series if one doesn't take it too seriously (especially the gaming/Yuka storyline). It's nominally Thai/Japanese but very Thai.

That being said, I admit that my deep and abiding love for Fluke Natouch might bias me just a bit. In addition to Fluke, I thought that March Chutavuth was really good as Hill - and it's also interesting that he's an already established non-BL actor taking a lead role in a BL, which I think is a bit unusual in Thailand.

Anyways, it may not be for everyone, but I quite enjoyed it!

Interesting to hear you say this. Putting the incomparable Boss & Noeul aside, I agree, and objectively speaking I can see some points where the Japanese remake improved on the messy story, especially the ending - but speaking for myself, I also recognise that I enjoyed it more than the Thai original simply because I already knew the story already and didn't have to overthink some of the problems and incongruencies in the story (e.g. Jin's mindreading - what the heck is that about?).

Thanks for this. I kind of slept on The Dating Game and only remembered in when I saw it appear on Netflix and wasn't sure if I should watch it. Think I will check it out now.

Oy Vey!

I've only seen 2 eps so the couch. Is there just one more scene to be prepared for? 😵‍💫

Oh? Duang doesn't grow out of it later in the drama? One of the reasons I haven't dropped it yet is the hope that he matures some.

I don't fast forward either but maybe I'll watch the better eps if I know which ones to pick, lol.
