Sammy's Children's Day ep 7

This so far is heading to be my favorite Chinese BL. I thought ABO Desire, To my Shore and Revendeg Love were okay, but the plots in all of those at times got bit hard to follow and you really had to commit into watching them. With Sammy's Children's Day I feel we are still very much plot forward, but it is manageable to follow.

My only complaint is that the main couple progress is slow. I was really expecting things to start moving forward in ep 7 with Chu San and Liu Yi, but we are still kind of in the "getting there part". If this would have similar episode count as ABO Desire and Revenged Love, than I would understand the slow moving relationship arch, but we have only two episodes left.

They maybe should have also given the second couple bit more screen time, bc while they seem really interesting, but unfortunately we got them quite late in the series. I am unsure considering that there is two episodes to go, that how much it is realistic to be expected to see them.

Yeah well at least with the other popular C-BLs that had more episodes to them, we got plenty of main couple action aside from the long getting together process. 😅 So watching the many eps was worth it.

I’m currently watching and enjoying Oh No! Here Comes Trouble (non-BL), and I have to praise the acting of a few actors we’ve seen in BL before.

Tseng Jing Hua, the lead actor, who was in Your Name Engraved Herein. The guest actor Fandy Fan, who was in HIStory 2: Crossing the Line (I was so happy to see him again after so many years). And the guest actor Nonkul Chanon, who was in I Feel You Linger in the Air.

They really made the drama even better.

One of my favorite Taiwan dramas of all time! Wait until the BL subtext hits! The fanfiction for this show is unreal. 😆

So at first I thought the night rendezvous between Arnold and Dean was going for an implied kiss but just wasn't going to show it, but nope. Raffy is losing his mind over a late night hug 🤦‍♀️ I'm really hating this story line. And you know, I kind of hate Raffy's character all together. Which pisses me off because the couple I was looking forward to the most was AouBoom. I don't know if his character can be redeemed in the next 4 episodes, but so far OF season 2 is just okay. Season 1 was way better in my opinion.
