I guess I want to start Feel What You Feel.
I'm on Ep 7. It's an ok watch. I was surprised when the uni announced the news of the Sept 11 attack over the intercom. Not sure why they threw that in except maybe to use as a time line reference? 😔
If you listen carefully, they also name drop Jay Chou who was a very very famous musician in the early 2000s and one of my personal favorite singers (nunchunks is still on my playlist). So yeah definitely two points of time references to make us feel in the early 2000s.

Are you guys watching Love of Silom??? I just finished watcind the episodes that have aired and let me tell you I was not expecting to like it cause I loved my stand in I tend to enjoy darker bls and when this aired I thought I wouldn't be interested in it but tell me why I enjoyed it so much like I enjoyed it more than I enjoyed duang with you's first 3 or 4 episodes
(No hate to duang with you especially duang and qin and their chemistry)
I wasn't sure about this one tbh but I gave it a try, and best decision of the month! I just love Love of Silom, and it came just at the right time, after Sammy's finished.
And let's take a second to talk about the end of ep4 and THAT kiss at the end!

it's always clearly mentioned that the timeline is early 2000 infact when they first got into the uni there was a large banner saying welcome 2000 batch

I really love Don’t Say No. I like it better than TharnType. It has some flaws but it’s definitely worth the watch. JaFirst are great!

Ditto: I loved "Don't Say No", despite its flaws (it's a MAME story), and Ja/First (Leo and Fiat) were a great CP.
Good to know! I really liked Ja in The Love Never Sets even though the drama in itself was not my fav, so that will be another reason to put a high priority on this one.
I'm really looking forward to seeing First Chalongrat back again in a BL after his long absence in the newly announced (and thus not yet on MDL) "My Ex-Boyfriend is an Idol" with his new partner, Ohm Sarit (left photo, Ohm is in front).
Oh cool, I liked him in TharnType (I think I liked more the support roles' stories than the main one, but that's another story), so I'll be waiting for My Ex-Boyfriend. Any idea if it's still airing this year?

Don't Say No" was also Smart Chisanupong's first role (right photo), and the supporting character he plays (Leon) starts out as a bit of a jerk but develops nicely. It's a shame that the intended sequel "Just Say Yes" (which I believe would have been mainly to develop the interesting side couple Leon & Pob) never happened.
ya now that I think about it I feel like smarts terrible company was responsible for that as well I have cried real tears when just say yes got canceled cause I love lean and phob and they got a sad ending and I loved smart back then so I was incredibly sad
after 3 to 4 years when smart came back with top form I was on the seventh moon and I also loved his new partner boom and their chem infact I loved boom more than his previous partner but again his company fricked it all up
(I don't really know much about the scandal I couldn't keep up with it I don't know what was company's fault was it smart's fault too idk I just love smart as an actor)

I feel it has more to do with immersion and to ground us in the time period. Maybe even a use to tell passage of time because like you said the banner said 2000 but when 9/11 happened we know clearly a year has passed.
I think spending time with family today for American Mother’s Day has sapped all my mental energy. Maybe I’ll just stick with comfort watches for the rest of today.
Thank you for reminding me about Mother's Day I have to choose a gift (it's in 3 weeks in France).

I'm having a breather from art assignments. It's more intense than I expected, but I'm also a slow-paced person so I'm not totally surprised. I'm enjoying the challenge so it's all good. 😊

I must have missed that. Jay Chou was the lead in the very first Asian movie I watched, Kung Fu Dunk. I was obsessed with that movie, and it basically started my whole Asian dramas and movies journey.
