Crazy love moo-moo episode 2

Okay I just can't with this one, it's too much for me even if I try to take it as a comedy. Like yeah there kind is plot, but with all the shenigans, this just feels like a farce. The only reason I will keep watching this is, bc I like Boss and Noeul.

Your dear daddy episode 2

I'm still not too thrilled about this one, but I think the plot now has potential for Saithan to have some character growth. Sure it's not a new trope to put a rich kid to do actual work, but there is potential here to bring some depth to the story.

I had to back track back to this because I just watched eps 2 of Crazy Love Moo Moo and I completely agree with you. I feel like this is MeMindY's attempt at a Me and Thee type drama but they don't understand why all the over the top humor worked there but not here. For example: The whole canoe scene of Thee jumping into the ocean and popping out in front of Peach to Thee asking Peach's permission to kiss. That was down right funny and sweet and brining with it feelings of trust and safety. Now CLMM's scene of Moo Moo getting drunk and Fu brining him home and trying to change him. Well, I think they forgot most of their audience are women and this scenario is down right scary. And while they were trying to go for Fu being a good guy it also kind of implied (though I don't think they meant to) that if Moo Moo had been naked Fu would have raped him?

Also Peach never once told Thee to stop anything or implied he was uncomfortable with anything Thee did. While Moo Moo has told Fu directly to stop and Fu never does. Also a women's worst nightmare. Having a guy you already said no to keep bothering you.

This is just my much needed rant on this drama. I'll still see it all though. I'm curious if it improves or gets worse.

My current BL watch list (no particular order):

Holy moly that's a lot to keep track of!!

There are prob 2 full size BL series on my CW list and only 1 currently airing. The other 3 are YT short series. I'm afraid to start more new dramas cuz I have 2 more trips within the next few weeks or so. Things will settle down by the end of June and I can focus on watching more dramas then, yay!

Yeah I still haven't finished POJ...**sigh** There's a LOT of war scenes so I've lost my excitement for it.

I'm currently still watching The Sun From Another Star. This is weird but is anyone else noticing some of their MDL text showing up in another language? Or maybe it's just me? I saw Spanish, I think, where it should be English. I know I'm not going nuts...

My watchlist is packed as well but i think you have me beat๐Ÿ˜ญWhy are there so many new and airing May BLs. I can't keep up ๐Ÿคฃ

I'm not even going to try! I gave up almost before the month even started, and before even more BLs were announced. I made the right choice for me anyways. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚

They'll be there when I'm ready to watch them and I won't have to wait every dang week, lol.

Love of Silom (Uncut Ver.) - episode 5

In this episode the issue of coming out and the challenges of being in the closet are what stood out to me. I also found the issue of parental expectations and pressure to be front and centre.

I cannot relate to the relationship between Krit and his father as I do not have a relationship with mine, so I cannot imagine being under any pressure from him or having any regard towards him whatsoever. However, I can appreciate the burden Krit is carrying and how he fears disappointing his father. He will eventually come to the crossroad where he will have to choose between his own happiness or his father's. I can already foresee his father being very against Wayu, especially because of Wayu's job. Krit's father cares a lot about image, and you often find that people like that are shallow in character, and are willing to sacrifice happiness in every form to please some subsection of society.

One thing that always irks me about these types of stories is how the mothers just stand-by while the fathers break down their children emotionally. The mothers often give excuses and play referees in the name of keeping the peace. Is there really peace being kept where your child has no peace? This is quite off-putting to me because I come from a very strong female led household and family, so this type of family dynamic is completely against anything I am used to. However, I do understand as a sociology student (well former) that these types of traditional patriarchal family units do exist and how they operate.

Due to Krit being in the closet he is a slave to it. His ex weaponizes it. Only Krit can emancipate himself from his situation, and I hope when he does it, it is not solely because of wanting to be with Wayu, but he does it for himself and his truth.

I look forward to seeing how these different issues will be dealt with in future episodes.

I do have comments on Wayu and his nephew's family situation, but I will save them for another time; possibly I will do one of my very long finale reviews that I am known for lol.

I noticed that as well. Very nice touches. I can't wait to watch it. I love Fourth and Gemini. I miss them a lot and can't wait. It's been so long.

I finally got around to watching the ending episode for Cat for Cash. It's really wild that I got so overwhelmed with so many series that I actually left that one with just the last episode not watched after all these weeks that the series has been finished lol.

That said, it was a really cute and solid series. I really really enjoyed it, and it was so much more than I ever expected it would be. A lot of really wonderful touching moments. The inclusion of the speaking cats was very well done and and not overdone. I think they struck a really good balance with the cats and it was a really good story overall.

I tend to have mainly gone back and forth between iQIYI and Gaga a lot. Those tend to be the ones that host most of my BLs are on. However, I also would often end up on WeTv, Tencent, Viki, and others, because no one streaming service has all of them.

Wow, you're currently watching 19 titles! Sugoi! (= You're amazing!) I think the most I've ever had was 14.

Your micro-summaries in just a phrase or even just emoji are really helpful. I think the next one I start will be "Double Helix".

Interesting survey question! (I interpreted the question as "for BLs" and thus answered iQiyi, with Gaga a close second, but for general watching it would be Netflix).

Interesting feedback. I can't yet judge for myself because I've not yet started on "CrazyLove MooMoo" ... but I will, despite the reviews, because it's Boss & Noeul. Obviously!
