Whoops, sorry - I just deleted what I posted a minute ago because it seemed no longer relevant. (Actually, I don't eat either - not because I don't love both, which I do, but because I get sick from sweets.)

Probably because of too many people like me who will indiscriminately give ten stars to pretty much anything starring our favourite obsessions (Fluke Natouch, Namping, TeeTee, ...)

Duang With You and other disappointments...

I'm sure there were some great scenes with all the feels, but unfortunately I couldn't hang in there long enough to watch them. I made an attempt THREE times, lol, but the OTT acting overshadowed everything else. I hope their next series works for me cuz I love PorTeeTee too!

I actually find it frustrating and disappointing after waiting excitedly for a series with actors I love (BossNoeul, TutorYim, KengNamping, ZeeNuNew etc) only to experience an aversion to that particular drama. Especially when it's their FIRST series together! (TutorYim, KengNamping & PorTeeTee) 😭🥲

That's why I subjected myself to watch the entire Khemjira series (another very highly rated drama which made me feel I was missing out on smth great). From that I learned it doesn't work to force myself, so I guess I just answered my own question and shouldn't continue CLMM unless I want to feel miserable.

I'm sure we've all had a very popular drama that we didn't care for. For me it's such a let down.

I'll end on a more positive note:

Indie art girl I'm sorry you're so disappointed in the series. Pairings first dramas always leaves with a first impression and whether or not we would support their future work unless you're like me who somehow always miss their first drama only to realise this isn't their first drama as the ML's. We just have to hope that they get a better story more suited to them or their acting improves or maybe needs a career change. Here is a photo you can keep

Yes! I don't think the 2gether series was all that good, but I still see people talk about it with reverence. 😅 Granted the sequel Still 2gether was better (different director) but not mind blowing. 👐 I think it being released during the pandemic was the main reason for its success. That's my theory anyway.

I recently re-watched it, and for me it held up pretty well. While "reverence" would be too strong a word, and while it has plenty of flaws (which were partly correctly by the more satisfying ending of "Still 2gether", it's a nice comfort watch, and I'm still mesmerised by Bright and Win.
