Fake Fact Lips
I think this will be my next BL watch. Maybe even tonight. I need smth after a tough day of dropping things for no reason and a paint explosion that was hard to clean up. I wish the day would just hurry up and be over with. Waaah. ðŸ˜
I started writing this early in the afternoon, and I am just completing it at 10:58 pm. Goes to show how unpredictable and busy my days can get. Now I cannot even be bothered to finish lol I will save it for the finale.

Firstly, let me just say that I am now actively trying to watch this series as a completely independent story, not giving any consideration to it being a remake. The reason is that for me it does not live up to the movies and by extension to the novel. This is a lot tamer, and I do not think the actors are capable, in their current capacity, to pull off the story in its truest form. I think it is safe to say this since there are only four episodes left, and it is highly unlikely that there could be such a dramatic turn that would change my mind.
This level of intensity and toxicity from the movie is simply not being matched, much less exceeded:
Make no mistake, the series is indeed recreating the main plot events in line with the original story. It is just a matter of lacking the requisite emotional elements, atmosphere and skills to pull it off convincingly.
Now, as to the series standing by itself. It is by no means a bad series. I like it, but just not as a remake.

Thanks I'm glad they don't know each other (Arthit and Dao), it was just yesterday that I said I will wait to watch the season 2 but I don't know if can wait 😆 I need to focus on something else.

oh i hope you're right. but i only saw 1 and that was more than a week ago. haven't checked mdl though
In the MDL page people are saying there are more episodes but no release date yet only speculations.

Flower Boy ep 6: My issue with this drama is how by the book the plot is. There is only 2 episodes left and I don't see any room for originality to make it in.
This was my thoughts when I started ep 5 so I put it on-hold since I can wait for a story with no surprises.

On the other end the product placement was super upsetting
I noticed this in the previous episodes too but for me Flower Boy is on-hold.

I started it yesterday and so far so good.
I'm waiting to binge watch it later, I will be curious to hear your thoughts I don't really see people talking about it these days, or maybe I just missed it.

Payback first ep is good, im impressed and excited to see more, this one is like sammy it has some bloody scenes. so not a light one, i find the story so interesting
I read part of the webtoon years ago it sure was interesting but I dropped it because the wait between chapters was too long. Maybe I'll watch the adaptation, but I'm not sure whether I want to follow it weekly or wait and binge watch it.

I have been having a hectic weekend, but I did manage to also watch Payback's first episode yesterday and I think so far this seems good, BUT it's not for someone looking something warm and fluffy to watch. The first episode had quite dark themes in it and I think it will be an indication of where the show is going. For me though this is much better than Your dear Daddy, which I decided to drop, bc it was feeling very generic.
Crazy Love, Moo-Moo! ep4
This episode is going nowhere but at least it's funny, thanks to Earth, his "oh my godshhhh" was fantastic!
As expected, as soon as Fu looses interest in Moo and starts looking around, Moo is 1. jealous, 2. finally starting to fall for Fu, 3. smiling at Fu like he's God. I don't know if I should cry or throw up.
I just finished episode 4 and it tells quite a lot that I actually enjoyed this for the fact that Fu was not up to his normal antics and behavior (actually behaved like a normal person for once). And yeah wow Moo way of doing 360, first we kick and scream for the guy to leave us alone, but the minute another man shows up indicating interest towards Fu we get so jealous even aliens could see it from outer space. While I am not a fan of how generally Moo has gone from cold to hot, I kind did get a good laugh for what he did to Kluayhom at the end of the episode.
But yeah based on the teaser for ep 5. it's going to be all smiles and longing gazes from Moo here on onward, so Fu probably won't have work so hard in future episodes.
