I was convinced this was because they were BL stars, but then I saw the same thing happened to the Pursuit of Jade stars—the lesser ones that got suddenly popular, like Deng Kai. So it’s something wrong in China but not just for BL stars or fans.

It was also in China that Pond got chased a few weeks ago, but you're right it's not just BL stars. I saw the videos of the actors from Double Helix this is infuriating.
Whenever I saw someone famous, I acknowledge it and wet on with my day because I was raised to have manners. These people clearly don't have that.
Yeah I'm the same way. Although we don't have that big of a star/celebrity culture where i am from so it still shocks me sometimes to see the level it can go to. Must be so scary to go from being relatively unknown to amassing a mob of fans almost over night .

Indeed. I value my privacy (and the anonymity that brings privacy) enormously, so this would be unimaginable to me, but I can also understand that money (whether for one's family if from poverty or for one's independence if from a rich family), desire for fame and artistic ambitions can be powerful motivators.

One issue for intersex individuals is many individuals, including medical figures, try to justify non-consensual surgeries on intersex children with the excuse that being intersex is a disability or disorder when it isn't due to pushing gender roles on children and to satisfy parents.

I saw an X post somewhere where someone said that an agency said to them that a bl ship has broken up and have a huge upcoming concert. One of them doesn´t want to do the concert anymore. Does anyone know what that is about? The X account is named TTOOPPII. I don't know who they are ( the account owner) and who it is or if it's only rumor/ accusations/ just a made up story

Someone here (don't remember who) posted about the two actors from Double Helix being mobbed at the airport and as I keep seeing more and more videos from the incident pop up, it just makes me so upset. These so-called "fans" have no respect whatsoever and it's disgusting how they continue to harass celebrities even if they're on the ground. Disgusting behavior!
Celebrities are human beings with their own rights, so why are they being treated this way? They're not unicorns or something mystical for fck sake! I've seen many videos before of celebrities being knocked down, hurt, and running away from fans only to be chased by them. How do they even know the flight schedule??? It made it worse with the fact that there was no security protecting them.

I have seen the clips too and I am just appalled and questioning same time that why they don't have better security plans for these actors, especially in China where this seems to happen a lot to BL actors and other famous people. In China this is baffling, bc it is widely known how aggressively the government uses surveillance on ppl and how it can deploy the security forces against ppl, but then we continuously see these clips of famous ppl being almost mobbed to death. In Hollywood I think there are people hired by celebreties and management companies for the purpose that their only job is to consider and prepear for any kind of safety risks that come with being a famous person. You can be a fan without invading privacy or causing danger to a famous person.
