OK, I surrender: Vox populi wins.

"Your Dear Daddy" (now at ep. 5 of 8) has an average MDL rating of 7.7.
"Magic Move" (now at ep. 8 of 10): 7.4, i.e. somewhat lower.

Until now, I had been rating "Magic Move" a bit higher (although, as always, I am admittedly very influenced by the cutie-patootie factor). However, the writing in ep. 8 was sufficiently nonsensical, and the antepenultimate crisis so cliché, that even my hormones weren't enough to overcome my brain.

So I have followed the crowd and now rate "Your Dear Daddy" higher. Not that it doesn't have its flaws, but there's a lot that I like, including also the northern Thai rural scenery and tea plantation theme.

I'm watching both, and let's be honest, Magic Move has been boring since the beginning. If it wasn't airing, I would have dropped.

Your Dear Daddy is average but it's at least cute, and it has a bit of story/action/plot. But we're only at ep5 so it can still get worse.

Fix the Error on June 12. My fav part is the hidden ID. Oh, and forbidden love!

OMG Lee Hyeong Jun from My Man season 4 and Kim Yung Hee from My Man season 2 😆 It feels weird seeing them together !

Is My Man listed here? I can't remember if I've seen them.

Idk if this sweet short by Strongberry has been mentioned here, so just in case it hasn't...

Look at Me - Only cuteness for 2 short eps! MDL rating could be higher, imo.

ETA: It's part of Kiss Kiss Sxx S2 series

@Art Girl: Tiffany means "His Man", the Korean reality dating series. (S2 was decent, S4 was kind of a mess because they had to re-film the first part - although in a way, that was an interesting curiosity.)

@Tiffany: Yes, I'll be interested to watch this series with them, even if I don't have high expectations.

Changyu and Changmin from S1 also did some BL roles - not great, but still interesting to see them.

I didn't watch S3, which was supposedly far inferior to S2 because they tried to stir things up with conflicts or whatever, but I see that four of the eight have done BLs, two of them prolific. Interesting.

Magic Move has been boring since the beginning.

Until yesterday's mess of an episode, I didn't find it any more boring than other typical, run-of-the-mill Thai BLs that rely on cutie-patooties and steamy NC scenes to compensate for uninspired writing. But then again, I've openly admitted that I'm very influenced by the CPF (cutie-patootie factor).

Ohhh ok. I remember that and didn't finish S4. Mainly cuz it was so boring!

i've heard the same producer has a new reality show but bis this time. the title is Stand BI Me which will be out june 19

I started a BL Game thread for members that create BL games here on MDL. They can post their work there for other's to enjoy.

Edit: I think I know which one it is. I think it was When oranges fall

Edit 2: okay no it was not. I still don't know what it was

I forgot a bl. Does anyone know its name? I just remember that it isn't that old, I think it is currently airing. He and his friends are pretending that he has diarrhea and then they eat on the rooftop at the end of the episode.

At first I thought it was maybe lately it's winter season but thats not it I think.

In the preview of the next episode Spoiler!the other male lead says that he is in love with a girl

Hmm, I just saw that scene very recently. I think it might have been "Lately, It's Winter Season", but now I can't find the scene.

Yes it is! The two friends are standing outside the bathroom when Nao comes down the stairs and asks about Tiger and the two friends say he has diarrhea and Tiger texts from the bathroom calling them assholes and they laugh and tell Nao its a funny picture.
