I don't intend to pop off about the religious aspects too much, I hope. I really don't want to let it get to me to where I don't enjoy my boys, especially my Fourthy. I'm sooo happy to see him in a series again.

That's a good point! A balance with a focus on the overall story and drama is better, lol. I haven't watched much of Gemini & Fourth before. Enjoy the show!!

I just talked about religion and went back to Wishing Upon the Shooting Star where I had paused in the middle of EP 8 RIGHT BEFORE the NC scene. I decided to try to watch it like the adult that I am when suddenly they were TOTALLY NAKED on the screen. Insert scream here and another pause of the video. Well, yk, not completely and totally naked, but as close as can be. 💀💀💀
I don't know if I can talk about this kind of stuff in detail, but I can say I really like both MLs equally, which is rare for me. I almost always like one ML more than the other.
Hmmm, I guess I'll suck it up and go back and try to finish this ep. Does anyone remember if there are any more NC scenes after the first one in EP 8? I have 4 more eps to watch. **sigh** 🤣

I just finished watching ep 1 of Ticket to Heaven. It's so nice to see Fourth & Gemini in a more serious series in more mature roles. Right out of the gate they both are killing it. It's also unmistakable how much Gemini has grown as an actor.
I still need to start this. Since Double Helix is wrapping up now, I will replace it with Ticket to Heaven.
I was raised in a Catholic family and went to private Catholic school all the way through to high school.
I was not raised Catholic nor is my family Catholic, but I went to all Christian schools and went to an all boys Catholic high school. Majority, if not all high schools in Jamaica are associated with some Christian denomination. All schools have Christianity indoctrinated in them. The principle of church separate from State does not in reality exist in the Caribbean as a whole particularly the Anglophone Caribbean states. However, at the same time Christian values are not so strictly enforced in schools beyond devotions. It would take a whole long ass post with a long history preface to explain.
Anyway, the point I want to make is that I am intrigued to see the conflict of religion and sexuality portrayed on screen particularly as it relates to Catholicism, especially given some prejudice and evil motives by the Catholic church to change narratives over the centuries by changing text in the Bible. Let me stop here 😭 perhaps what I will do intertwine certain historically relevant events and facts with my reviews of Ticket to Heaven to highlight events and scenes from the series 🤔
But will I have the motivation at those times to write such long ass reviews

I just checked and there is only another one on episode 11 from 9:30 to 12:30 you can skip it 😁

I really should be watching new BLs, with yesterday's first four episodes "Winter Sun" at the top of the list. But yesterday I desperately, urgently needed a BL comfort re-watch.

Me too. At least I hope I have time. I travel again in a few days so it's hard to not be busy. A long time ago Mr. P mentioned smth about being tired of traveling and I'm getting an idea of what he meant. I'm so ready to stay home for a really long, uninterrupted block of time, lol. 😭

I really like Wishing Shooting Stars and both couples, but starting with EP 9 there's a lot of supernatural stuff happening and I'm getting lost. It's less enjoyable when I feel lost, fr. Like irl. (I get lost easily.) It's one of the most uncomfortable feelings.

Thanks! I do love traveling, but due to scheduled events it happened to be 4 trips in 4 months. My choice would be to spread them out every 3 months. But I'm glad to be a part of someone else's milestones and celebrations, even if it's been a less than great year for flying.
This upcoming trip is split in half. One week with family and fun, including a graduation beach party! I'm going to wear my brighter-than-hellfire tie-dye rainbow dress (picture that with my red & black hair, haha). 😆🏳️🌈
The second week I'm dog-sitting. I just water & feed them, give out pets and convos. The dogs, a long-haired dashound, a small yappy terrier and a med-size poodle can watch BLs with me. They'll never tell. 😈
