The school also offers Korean classes so that's initially the class I wanted to attend, but it's too late in the evening.

I didn't watch any BL today which is rare. I wanted to start Fourever you 2 since it's ending in a few days but I concentrate with something new because it's too hot. So instead I'm rewatching the 3 seasons of Gokusen I watched it like 15 years ago and rewatched it a few times it's repetitive so easy to watch with this heat.

All you assessments from the dramas you watched are spot on. I too feel sad about Love of Silom. I think it would have been a bit better if it had been a binge watch instead so I would dwell on the parts that disappointed me. I still have it ranked high seeing as the first half is nearly perfect. 😩
I agree the first half was so good I wonder if I would have enjoyed more as a binge watch (the episodes are a bit long for a binge watch).
I kept my rating at 8.5/10 and won't change it except if the last episode turns even worse than the rest, because in itself the series is ok. Up to ep6 I rated the series a 9.5/10, which is pretty high for me, but it was so captivating, I loved it. It's sad because the plot and the murder cases were so good but now it switched to this "I'm an adult but my parents are against me being gay, so let's go for an arranged marriage with a woman I will never love, waste my life so my family feels happy and proud" kind of stories I hate the most. Most probably in the last ep Krit and Wayu will reunite and swear that they will love forever, the father will be mad but his wife will talk him out of it and in the end he will agree with Krit dating Wayu, and everyone will be happy. THE END.
Exactly ! I think at best I will rate it 8.5 and at worst 8.

I say still go for it. The first half is sooo good. If you can't stand the later episodes, depending on how the last episode goes I say skip to the last and call it a night. The later episodes are so by the book you wouldn't be missing anything.
yes, I would recommend ep1 to 6 because it's almost a 10 for me! The NC scenes are at the end of ep5 and 6. Ep8 is still good, binge watch in x3 the remaining eps.

I'll be thinking about y'all while it's cool here at 65 (18 celsius) for the whole week ahead! Plus rain, so I'm gonna feel cold. A 20 degree drop after today's 85. I'm in the Puget Sound area atm.
My goal while dog sitting, besides keeping them alive, is to finish a drama I've had on-hold, Moonlit Reunion and the current Fourever You's Lately, It's Winter Season. Last ep is tomorrow! And of course to keep up with Winter Sun!! (I finally finished POJ!!!)
I'm motivated to start fresh with my CW & Hold lists!

It is hot here, but not scorching in my opinion. It is 30 degrees Celsius. Or am I just used to the heat living in a tropical climate 🤔

Oh that's too bad ! I just had my last Korean class of the year today.
Won't you continue next semester? That's already so cool to find a proper Korean class here in France, you're so lucky.
In my case it will be a simple Chinese class, once a week, as long as my timetable at university allows it (so at least for the next 2 years), then I'll see. My university offers a really compact university diploma in Japanese for beginners (12 hours/week) in 2 years, so I may give it a chance at the end of my bachelor degree, because right now I cannot imagine adding so many class hours on top of everything I already study.
I know there are initiation classes in various languages (1h, 6 weeks long) for free in the University languages department and sometimes they have Korean, so maybe I'll give it a try. But I already have classes in 5 foreign languages (without counting Chinese nor French, my mother tong), so I'll be pretty busy ;-)

My mother-in-law has terminal cancer and my spouse is having a really hard time spending every day with her and watching her go downhill. It is very stressful. I am trying to help but there isn’t much I can do even for my spouse.
