"A liking B, B liking C, and C liking A" certainly happens plenty in the real gay/lesbian world (been there, done that), but unless someone changes who they like, it doesn't lead to a satisfying dramatic conclusion. I think maybe I've seen this among supporting characters in one or more BLs, but I'm scratching my head to specifically remember where. In any case, this doesn't easily work in a BL drama.

Not necessarily. It's often the way @Gabster describes it, where one of the leads chooses between two options. Full House (Korea) did this really well. Actor Lee Yeong Jae is in love with designer Kang Hye Won. He drops everything to be with her. To make her jealous, he enters into a secret contract marriage with writer Han Ji Eun. They start out as enemies, but slowly get to know each other and she slowly falls for him. So, we have this love triangle with Yeong Jae choosing between his childhood love Kye Won and his contract wife Ji Eun.
To make it more interesting, there's a 4th lead. Yoo Min Hyeok is a publisher who met Han Ji Eun when they were abroad. Min Hyeok falls for Ji Eun and helps her with her writing career. But, he's also the reason Hye Won ignores Yeong Jae, because she's been in love with Min Hyeok for many years. I think this is what's call a Love Square?

iQiyi: good overall, phone app has constant interruptions with them wanting you to rate, share with friends, and did you know you can see who this actor is without leaving this screen!? Wait, you did because we told you 1000000 times? Here's one more.
Viki: can't speed up a video. Can't adjust volume or brightness from touch screen. Do like the collections option, but is obsolete after I made a MDL account. Downloads only last 3 days.
Gaga: takes forever to load the home screen. Continue watching is a video I watched 3 months ago. Hard to search for anything and cant download.
Tencent: seperate from wetv but also the same thing. Overall my favorite to use. Limited new BL are ever picked up here though. 😔
Netflix: Can only speed up to 1.5x no 2x is available. Can't adjust volume or brightness from swiping screen (spoiled for this now).
Youtube: agitated by all the ep 1/4, 2/4... Also can't adjust brightness or volume from screen. But you can play from official channels to support. 🫶
Bilibili: Like youtube but you can adjust brightness and volume like iqiyi. Ads are not that irritating but still present. More annoying if you had to leave and come back. It will hold your spot but double the ads.

Ordinary Love: eps 3 So I finally was able to watch episode 3 and afterwards I found my self liking it. 😱 I thought for sure this was a write off drama. Even considered dropping it because its such a hassle to watch an episode with it being pirated and having to use a VPN. But the topic of moving in together while being in a gay relationship and hardship that comes with, the sister being a sweetheart, and the effort Kei puts into the research and options. What can I say, this episode by comparison just hit right.
