Don’t Be Too Emotional ep5

So is Big Jane some kind of mafioso? Are we ever going to really find out his background? Obviously both Jane’s have feelings for each other, but are we expected to believe little Jane could actually be happy in a relationship he is bound to by contract? And will he get punished too if he tries to leave?

I like how the show blurs the boundaries so we don’t actually know if anyone is really doing the right thing. I think we are still experiencing the story through Little Jane, so we get upset when he’s upset. Even from Little Jane’s point of view, it’s not clear if his own behavior is acceptable. I could have guessed that he would eventually have to trade himself for a favor, but I feel like the show is still too unclear about what’s going on with whom and why. I need more information! But despite my complaints, I’m fully invested.

i lowky wished that Big Jane is a supernatural creature/demon who is in love with a human, i love supernatural stuff, but anyway same i find the show good and interesting to watch, im impressed by Big Jane acting , great actor playing his role well i found him hot and he was lowky scary too in the same time 😂❤️‍🔥

I totally agree that Big Jane nails both sexy and scary, but if I like him, do I join the red flag club (like the song), the black flag/dark romance club, or the villain-lover’s club? I want to know what to expect, and I don’t. (I realize he’s the lead so he’s not the villain, but I still have some feelings for him similar to those for other villains I’ve liked.)

Winter Sun

I'm choosing not to watch this week's ep and maybe not even next week's just yet. I'm not ready for the storm without the sun coming out right after.

I spent the afternoon in the ER after I burned two of my left fingers while baking bread this afternoon. (Does anyone know how to cure absentmindedness?!?) I made bread for my brother who is visiting this weekend. I'm all bandaged up so now my left hand looks like a peace sign. Could be worse. It could be just my middle finger, lol. Anyways, it got me feeling a little down so I'm sticking with upbeat light dramas atm.

Sooo that's why I watched EP 10 of When Oranges Fall. Warm hearted and carefree. It's almost time for them to step into more grownup roles, so I'm waiting to watch EP 11 when 12 is out. I'll finish both together. I think this drama will go on my short list of comfort dramas to go back to someday.

I know what a bad sunburn feels like. I hope she recovers quickly without too much discomfort. I literally have to stay out of the sun in the middle of the day as much as possible.

Lol same I do not like being out in the sun much during high uv hours. i’m also the type of person that wears jeans or leggings most of the time because I can’t do shorts unless I’m inside all day like it can be 90°F outside and I’m still wearing jeans just to keep me from getting sunburnt lol 😂

10/10 recommend hehe, I'll miss these actors so bad, it kinda itched the part of my brain that misses Semantic Error, so happy this BL got like top Korean drama (or smtg)?

I've had such a busy week at work I hadn't got the time to watch anything 😭 Thankfully, it's the weekend now, so I hope to watch some BLs. I really want to get to 'you can leave your shirt on' scene in Payback 😏😏

The Edge of Horizon ep 5

I keep writing honour instead of horizon, I don't know why 😅 I like that GL couple in the making. They're cute together. I bet that cake was extra sweet 😋 I kind of feel sorry for Chat. He's simple-minded and easily gets tricked by others. He's own father hates him, because he is the way he is. Now, is it his fault he was born this way? His Highness isn't the father of the year for sure 😒

Tin's got a great sense of duty, but it's hard to fight against your own heart. He may deny all he wants, but it's as clear as day he loves Phob truly. He was willing to sacrifice his own life for him. Now he's never getting rid of Phob. I wish they could be together unimpeded, but it won't be that easy. Not only are they two men in love, they're also committing a mésalliance. Is a regime change going to be the solution? I hope they won't end up on the opposite sides of the barricade.

Blackout eps 1-4

As my uncle says: if you don't know how to drink, don't drink. A couple in an established relationship is on the verge of breaking up. While trying to make up they get drunk and engage with another guy. Since no one can remember what actually happened, they become a throuple. It was okay, sometimes even funny, and it's short.

Payback eps 1-4

At first I wondered if it's going to remind me of Reset, since it's got a similar premise. The answer is no, they are two very different dramas. Reset was heavy on romance, but Payback is focused on Sun's revenge. The characters are very different as well. Sun is emotionally constipated and Jay is a mystery. Sun cut himself off from his emotions and he lives day by day, because he can't just lie down and die. As fate has it, Sun meets Jay. First Jay overcharged him for the cigarette, later he punched him for breathing the same air, then he got curious about his revenge, so he became his backer, later he invited him to his club and swamped him with 'homework'. On one hand he can't forget his pink bunny, on the other hand he plays with Sun. What are his motives? Sun is attracted to him, there is no other explanation for that fantasy in ep 3. For Jay he is a curiosity (the audacity to not know who Jay is).

I absolutely love the manager and Sky. I really hope they'll be a substitute of a family for Sun. I also want to know more about Sky and his 'camera fright'. I don't trust anyone else in the entertainment industry, especially that snake in the grass Sunny. Sun's acting classmates rub me up the wrong way. That scene at the end of ep 4... I know it's not that kind of drama, but a part of me wants Sun to do what they did in The Shortest Distance is Round (iykyk) 👿 I'm curious who's the man in red. Is he Jay's sugar daddy or an actual dad? Well, I'll find out soon.
