So is Big Jane some kind of mafioso? Are we ever going to really find out his background? Obviously both Jane’s have feelings for each other, but are we expected to believe little Jane could actually be happy in a relationship he is bound to as payback? And will he get punished too if he tries to leave?
I like how the show blurs the boundaries so we don’t actually know if anyone is really doing the right thing. I think we are still experiencing the story through Little Jane, so we get upset when he’s upset. Still, is his behavior acceptable. I could have guessed that he would eventually have to trade himself for a favor, but I feel like the show is still too unclear about what’s going on with whom and why. I need more information! But despite my complaints, I’m fully invested.
