I'm still waiting for this one to finish airing I think I will LOVE it !
Re: Deep In, I watched ep2 to 10 back to back and I was fully immersed in the story, it's a good think you waiting for all the episodes to be out. Ep11 cliffhanger was top tier, now I'm just endlessly waiting for next Friday to be there.
A few more days to wait !

I finished The Prosecutor's Proposal, and while I really loved this series from beginning to end, I agree with what has been said previously, the ending and especially the last episode felt rushed. Especially with 25-min episodes, I don't understand why they had to finish at ep10, 2 more episodes would have been helpful to properly finish the story and give a bit more screen to Song Ha Neul, his character, his family history and his complicated relationship to his mad family. Was I the only one thinking "again!!! Why do they have to stab Lee Chae Ha a second time? I still gave it a 9.0/10
we gave the same score =D

The Edge of Horizon ep6
My husband: what are you watching?
Me: an historical drama about the change of regime in the Kingdom of Siam in 1932.
The historical drama:
a perfect description lol

I also happened to watch Cherry Magic anime this week. It was cute. First time there were 2 green flags as leads. Rare thing in the BL world. I was wondering if I should watch the drama too. Read a comment that the Japanese actors never kiss in the whole drama. So strange.
i enjoyed the thai more than the jap version for this =)

Hello! Personally love red flags 🚩 😆 but really I'm a dumpster and will collect anything, though if you have been reading all our comments you probably know now. 🤭
If you don't mind me asking, what are your 10/10 BLs?
From this year’s BLs: Love Me If You Swear and Fake Fact Lips. Although Sammy ‘s Children’s Day came pretty close, it didn’t quite reach 10* because of that ending. However, it came very, very close 🤏🏼
I seldom rewatch anything, mostly because when I first watch them, my emotions are fully invested and I overlook any flaws it has if it makes me feel good. But rewatches unfortunately engage my brain a little too much and makes me rethink my ratings.

Winter Sun
I'm choosing not to watch this week's ep and maybe not even next week's just yet. I'm not ready for the storm without the sun coming out right after.
I spent the afternoon in the ER after I burned two of my left fingers while baking bread this afternoon. (Does anyone know how to cure absentmindedness?!?) I made bread for my brother who is visiting this weekend. I'm all bandaged up so now my left hand looks like a peace sign. Could be worse. It could be just my middle finger, lol. Anyways, it got me feeling a little down so I'm sticking with upbeat light dramas atm.
Sooo that's why I watched EP 10 of When Oranges Fall. Warm hearted and carefree. It's almost time for them to step into more grownup roles, so I'm waiting to watch EP 11 when 12 is out. I'll finish both together. I think this drama will go on my short list of comfort dramas to go back to someday.
Oh no! Yikes, that must feel awful. Sending positive thoughts and healing vibes your way that you feel better soon.

Hi everyone 👋🏼 I am a regular lurker here for the past several months and read every single comment from each one of you. I have been too shy to talk much around here. But today I’ve decided that I will try my best to interact more here.
The only type of BLs I tend to avoid are the ones with red flag/black flag MLs and cheating.
Looking forward to interacting more with you all ( and finally overcoming my shyness with you all. After all, I’m right home here among other BLs lovers 😊)
Welcome in this forum! I was also a regular lurker but after a while I gave it a go and no regrets! Feel free to comment as much as you want, this community is super nice and open-minded.
I also hate red flag, cheating, sexual assaults, all types of unfriendly macho ML and toxic relationships in general (even though I'm a fan of Don't be too Emotional).
Thank you. I’ve noticed that we have similar tastes in the kind of BLs we choose to watch or like. I dare say I might like Don’t Be Too Emotional too, though I haven’t started it yet. I do like Deep In a lot, even though that has so many things wrong with it boundary-wise and ethics-wise. But this is an exception for sure.
Indie Art Girl:
ER said not to put ice directly on the burn area, which I didn't know....but now I do!
I didn't plan on watching Deep In cuz I'm not good with intense dramas, which I have the impression it is. idk for sure but maybe there are red and black flag type characters?
Agreeing with ElementalStar’s and Mr. P’s comments. Deep In is not a drama you will like, I think. Both the drama and the movie within the drama have some really shady stuff happening. I liked it despite all this, but then I am enjoying Ollie’s and ShuYuan’s excellent acting, the wonderful OSTs, the brilliant cinematography, and the very enjoyable directing.
Sorry that I am having to respond with multiple posts. Using an IPad to access this site is NOT fun. It is very similar to using a mobile app. There are so many functionalities that don’t quite work via my IPad such as responding to multiple things in the same post. Alignment for profiles and challenges are challenging as well. That is why I kept my profile page minimalistic. No sense trying to torture myself in this IPad-limited feature mode 🤷🏻♂️
ElementalStar:
It is very I tense. I wouldn't say a straight up red flag, but some red flag moments for sure. Also some intense sex scenes even when filmed to be fake.

@Art Girl, in addition to this, there are also some domination elements that you generally don't like. You can give it a try, but I suspect that "Deep In" isn't for you.
Oh yeah it doesn't sound like it's for me, as I thought! Thanks for clearing that up, lol.

I'm amazed at the amount of dramas on some of the member's update posts!! I'm barely watching 2 eps a day for one drama!
when you don't sleep at night, you can easily add 10-14 episodes a day to your list. But I wouldn't recommend it at all, I'm back to sleeping 6 hours a night, with last week all-nighters I feel like I aged by 20 years in a week, and it will take me forever to recover 😵💫
I struggle with sleep at times too. For those times I can watch one or two eps in the middle of the night then I fall back asleep. 😆 I usually put on some quiet music, do some breathing then I'm out.
Tiffany:
Do you want a finished one, an airing one ? A country you have in mind ?
I'd like a finished one and country doesn't matter. It's about the story for me before all else.

Meanwhile I am DEEPly INvested in 'Deep In'. I am a bit sad that the show doesn't have more hype. It's literally 2 dramas rolled into one! Plus I always wondered if BL actors ever ended up catching feelings, ever got turned on by each other during intimacy. Okay so maybe it's not proper in that aspect but it's a trope I am glad we got!
It will conclude next Friday and I'm not ready to part ways and I might binge watch it all immediately which is rare thing for me to want to do.
I love it. I had some issues with the first episode, I wrote about it yesterday, but otherwise it has been so so good. And the OST is excellent in each episode.
The OST is indeed wonderful! Currently love Back To You and Tiger In My Love. 💜
Love Upon a Time: I finally finished this (had the last four episodes on hold). Can’t say I found it that wonderful. But Net’s acting, especially the nuances of his expression, and that last episode which was very sweet and rounded things up very well kind of saved this drama for me. I think JJ is still finding his footing in his onscreen pairing with Net. With some experience, I think he will become a much better actor!
Fix the Error: This one was just plain weird. A short and quick watch. But this was neither good nor very bad. It was just plain weird.
The Servant Prince: This continues to hook my interest. In this week’s episode (4), we see Naoya’s interaction with his brother. Last week’s reaction with his father could not be more different than this one. And Naoya has grown in confidence too. The brother’s comment about how Naoya never broke nor did he bow his head to his father in surrender, despite his father’s terrible treatment of him provided a very interesting perspective to both Naoya and me. And is it just me, or is Takaaki getting a little bit insecure now that Naoya is slowly gaining in confidence. It was so sad when Takaaki thought Naoya’s father and himself were similar in that they both might smother the one they loved… though they are nothing similar! Looking forward to the next episode.
Your Summer, My Storm: I am continuing to enjoy this as well. I love that Natsuki is so open with his emotions. He is the kind of person one would want to protect at any cost! The whole scene with the lost pet and Natsuki’s sister’s flippant attitude kind of annoyed me. And I agree, what a fluffy dog! 🥰
I am also trying to watch a het romance drama. It I think BLs have ruined me in the best way possible. I just can’t watch get romances the same way again. Compared to BLs, they have no chemistry whatsoever (though to be fair, I think I’m highly biased).

I watched the Japanese version, and have the movie (which is a kind of season 2) on my list for today. If you expect kisses or physical contacts, there are very few. The second couple shares a kiss if I remember well. Regarding the main couple, yes both are adorable and super conscious of each other. If you don't like it slow, maybe watch the Thai version. I personally liked it, because I like this kind of slow burn stories, plus I really enjoy Akaso Eiji's acting in other (straight) series, so I was really happy to watch him in a BL.
If it follows the anime plot, I'm sure I'll like it. The trailer for bother versions look good. Maybe I'll watch it when I'm not trying to catch up on so many recent dramas. 😄

both the thai and japanese version of the anime are good about the content, but yeah in the japanese one there is no kiss btw the first couple, and in one scene if i remember correctly there is a fake kiss. the second couple have a kiss tho

Thank you I'm doing pretty well! I'll see if that continues after a shampoo today, lol. I have tons of hair with a deep "V" length at my waist so it's going to be a major project. Actually I'm thinking for just this time to go to a salon for a wash only, if they do that!

Thanks for your input! You're right about me prob not liking it. I sure can appreciate all the good things about a drama, but when the content is difficult everything else fades in the background...

I get that! Dora has trouble sometimes too. I use a mac for all my editing here but since the tool was updated it can be a waste of time even on a laptop.
