ZhouYanRan:
Has Jay watched ABO Desire ep 15? He clearly followed Sheng Shao You's example of how to make your lover understand your pain.

i love this analogy lol

ZhouYanRan:
I enjoyed this drama. There were things that bothered me and I would write some things differently, but the drama wasn't bad at all. I loved the actors!

i'm curious what you want changed, aside from the easy death for the villains

For me this was one of the few red/black flag shows that got bit too much and I didn't finish it while it was airing.

Yeah, I seem to have no issue with physical action violence in shows, but the psychological aspect in this one really got under my skin.

I am totally the same. I actually like action in movies. Physical violence, gore, horror… these are all fine. But psychologically nasty stuff? Nope. I’m not the demographic for it!

I was the same I couldn't stop, I'm also glad I binge watched this one.

ZhouYanRan:

Question for DMD experts: could someone kindly tell me which dramas with DMD actors were produced by Mandee and which were produced by other companies?

Did I hear my name?

I started off trying to give a really complete answer to this question, but I increasingly recognised how dauntingly long and complicated that would be. For example, just look at Poppy's profile - and the great majority of these titles were during the very long time he was under exclusive management by Domundi!

Compared to GMMTV, Domundi/Mandee is much more of an open ecosystem, with Domundi artists in lots of non-Mandee projects and non-Domundi actors regularly in Mandee productions.

There's the added complication of comparing filming dates with Domundi start dates. For example, Namping and Ohmkrit in "Night Dream", Keng in "Paradise of Thorns", Tutor in "Tale of aThousand Stars", etc. etc. - were these still being filmed after they formally signed with Domundi? I don't know and am too lazy to find out.

Domundi/Mandee has particularly strong ties to Cheewin and his production company Copy A Bangkok. Although I believe only "ChermChey" and "Suntiny" officially have "Copy A Bangkok" on the poster as producer, Cheewin (and thus Copy A) has been closely involved in lots of other Mandee productions. It's a close and long-standing cooperation going all the way back to "Why R U?", the starting point of Domundi/Mandee as we know it today - and directed by Cheewin. Copy A has particularly close connections for anything involving Max & Nat, who they somehow co-manage.

"Battle of the Writers" was produced by Hydroindus Entertainment but directed by Kla Nathawat, who is basically Aoftion's right hand, so I assume it was a very close cooperation.

"Two Worlds" was produced by Kongthup. As I wrote above, Max & Nat are a special case.

Feel free to add other non-Mandee titles to this list, but these four BLs are the ones that jump to my mind.

It was announced yesterday that Jorjay Phumhirun Boonpa, one of the ten contestants in "Boys Vibe", passed away at the age of 20.

"Boys Vibe" was not a particularly good reality show. And given that the implicit purpose seemed to be launching BL acting careers, it was also not successful by this measure: Other than Kong Mongtree, who was already an established actor beforehand, I don't see any subsequent acting roles for the other nine. (The was a pilot a few months ago for a series called "My Boyfriend Is Next Door" with Pond, Joong, Shark, Kong, Tino and Chang, but I've not heard anything more, and it's not on MDL, so I'm assuming that it won't happen.)

Anyways, Jorjay was my favourite of the ten: Not only a cutie-patootie but also a very sweet personality. Rest in peace, Jorjay. Sadhu.😞

The "To Bromance or Not to Bromance" question has been answered and the overwhelming majority voted Yes!

Let's start with Four Hands Two Sonatas coming Aug 29 to Netflix. Consider me teased!

Anytime piano music is featured in a drama I'm all in!

ETA: Airing tomorrow - President's Secret Mark (aka Making His Mark) on Strongberry's YT channel

Did I hear my name?

Ja, natürlich 😉 Vielen Dank für deine ausführliche Antwort.

I thought this might be a complicated matter, but you included in your answer the three dramas I was thinking about (BotW, TW, CC), so I'm very satisfied with your answer 😄

Have The Prosecutor's Proposal and The Lie We Lived in got any NC scenes?

Don't ask me why I always watch these Japanese remakes. I just do 😀

Your Sky ep 1

It's just the first episode, so I can't say much. I like Hinata, he's cute and adorable. When I first saw Oji I thought he came straight out of anime. He gives me those over the top, flower petals flying everywhere kind of vibes. Also here he clearly drugged Hinata, in Thai version it was more ambiguous. I'm not sure about Sora. It seems like he's one of those cold, emotionless leads. Muenfah, played by Thomas, was a man of cold demeanour, but I could feel different emotions in him. Let's hope Sora will get better with time.
